Some are attracted by the legends about the ghost of Krzyniecki, others by the opportunity to see the ostrich farm, and still others, with the passion of Hasterman, sit in a tavern that is attached not far from the Detenitsa castle itself. As the owners of the castle say, the tavern attracts much more visitors than the castle. This is understandable, the old kravin (cowshed) was skillfully converted into a medieval tavern - there is hay on the floor, the waiters are trying to speak the old Czech language, rudely shouting at the visitors (although lately the waiters have begun to behave much more modestly, and carefully choose those who can be rude, and who should never be rude), only old Czech dishes are on the menu (although dishes from ostriches have appeared recently). The contingent of visitors to the tavern is very different - from Russian tourists to German burghers, although ours, in sense of the Czechs, it is enough. On weekends, performances are held in the inn - musicians, shermeers, checkers and so on and so on - for amateurs - at the very end of the restaurant accusations of witches are carried out - a girl you like is chosen from a noisy crowd and put in a cage, which is raised to the very ceiling. The accusations are read to the witch and soon released. Some are unlucky, they still get a few soft blows with a silk lash. As they say - everything for your money. A private dance on the table in front of your nose will cost about 200 CZK, and in order to plant a friend in a cage, prepare 500 CZK - in other words, prices may vary depending on the season. The funny thing is that under special protection, some men can also be put in the same cage, but the text of the accusation will be the same - You are such, that witch .... However, what's the difference - drunk tourists still don't understand it :)

You will be especially pleased with the prices in the inn - velvet black beer - 50 kroons, and 1 kg of smoked ribs will cost only 290 kroons. And for those who are not corpse-eater, sorry meat-eaten, they will offer a salad with beer cheese and KozuRosa - a few oatmeal balls, a piece of baked apple and corn and mushrooms on a skewer. In short, the evening was a success if you managed to book a table on time. For Russian tourists, this place, like the Dachitsky restaurant in Kutnaya Gora, makes a greater impression than Kostnitsa itself.

Alas, a decline in interest has already begun to be observed in the tavern. If in the first year of its operation - the restaurant worked almost around the clock, the service was simply excellent, and this despite the fact that the directorate did not do any special advertising at all, then recently the number of visitors began to decrease, as the quality of service began to deteriorate - and change will not be brought , and will forget to bring the ordered dishes and so on and so forth. Apparently, together with the Gral group, which often arranged their performances in this institution, the miracle that made us at least temporarily travel back to the old Czech times left the stern.
