Не могу не отметить, что за последние год-два четко изменился приоритет в "официальной идеологии": если раньше нам внушалось, что ради сытый желудок стоит того, чтобы расстаться с идеалами и принципами - демократией, правами человека и вообще морально-этической стороной добывания еды, - то теперь оказывается, что можно и нужно завязать потуже пояса во имя духовности, традиционных ценностей, русского мира, защиты от гейропы и других традиционных вещей, вполне попадающих под определение слов "принцип" или "идеал" (пусть и весьма сомнительный).
Ясно, что эти два посыла направлены на разную целевую аудиторию, на разные "классы" населения. Первый - на "экономически эффективных", которым нужно было дать сигнал, направление, возможность и правила игры без правил на встраивание в Империю и Вертикаль, второй - именно на "народ", которому наличие принципов и идеалов как раз таки классово ближе в силу воспитания и менталитета, и которому нужно вернуть почву под ноги в складывающихся условиях.
Поэтому спешу разочаровать оптимистов, считающих, что "народ", увидев пустые прилавки, растущие цены и падающие доходы, поспешит на улицы устраивать майдан.
Ведь если раньше первая формула была безопасна, потому что "народ", хоть и был недоволен разгулом "аморальности" и "бандитского капитализма", все равно голосовал "за" прямо или косвенно, так как был запуган риском "возвращения в голодные девяностые", то теперь стала безопасна вторая, потому что "экономически эффективные" уже провели свой "айфонный бунт" в дозволенное время и разрешенных рамках, надолго исчерпав запасы пар.
Скажу больше. "Народ" может даже думать, что теперь будем жить хуже, потому что "все деньги ушли на Крым и Украину". И эта мысль, несмотря на кажущуюся смелость, несмотря на близость к выводу, что партия и правительство сделали что-то не то, несмотря на меньшую приятность вождю, чем формула "будем плохо жить из-за действий Запада", все-таки безопасна для режима - ведь позволяет успокоить все сомнения в правильности решения дерганьем за стандартные ниточки "фашистов", "натовской военщины" и т.д. и т.п., и уводит от куда более опасной мысли.
О том, что в кормлении дружественных режимов ничего нового нет, а текущие проблемы в экономике лежат в бездарной политике на протяжении последних как минимум 14 лет. В том, что "жирные" нефтяные годы были потрачены в первую очередь не на улучшение уровня жизни населения, развитие инфраструктуры и экономико-правовой среды, а на обогащение правящей элиты и укрепление режима. О том, что и тогда и сейчас мы живем существенно хуже, чем могли бы при грамотной политике, и единственное достижение созданной тогда "заначки" в том, что падение может оказаться с меньшим перепадом высот.

And this thought, despite the seeming courage, despite the proximity to the conclusion that the party and the government did something wrong, despite the less pleasantness of the leader than the formula "we will live poorly due to the actions of the West," is still safe for regime - after all, it allows you to calm all doubts about the correctness of the decision by tugging at the standard strings of "fascists", "NATO military", etc. etc., and leads away from a much more dangerous thought.
The fact that there is nothing new in feeding friendly regimes, and current problems in the economy lie in mediocre politics for at least 14 years. The fact that the "fat" oil years were spent primarily not on improving the living standards of the population, developing infrastructure and the economic and legal environment, but on enriching the ruling elite and strengthening the regime. The fact that both then and now we live significantly worse than we could with a competent policy, and the only achievement of the “nest egg” created at that time was that a fall may turn out to be with a lower elevation.
