Где-то в Атлантике есть остров, на котором расположена ЗОО олимпийская деревня, где в 1980 году прошла первая в мире олимпиада зверей. Я не сошла с ума – нет, я наконец-то решила рассказать об этом, потому что для меня это крайне важно.
«Олимпиада зверей» - это шикарный полнометражный американский мультик 80-го года. Один из немногих, дошедших в нашу страну, когда я была совсем маленькой. Естественно, записан он был на пиратскую кассету, дублирован всем известным «гнусавым» дядькой, который не успевал сказать половину фраз, поэтому смысл периодически ускользал.
Мои любимые герои – это африканская бегунья-пантера Кит Мамбо, европейский козел-бегун Рене Фромаж, пес-слаломист Курт Вуфнер, и пловец-выдра имя которого я опять забыла. Конечно, они были прекрасны. Сюжет прост: все звери принимают участие в ЗОО-олимпиаде, каждый представляет свою страну, каждый стремится к победе. Показываются взаимоотношения с тренерами, отдых после соревнований, репортажи по ЗОО-телевидению, реклама хлопьев, косметики, и других товаров, которые используют звери-олимпийцы. Все вполне по-человечески.
Я не могу словами описать, сколько в этом мультике драйва, сколько выдумки, сколько хорошего юмора без "пуков и шрэков". У каждого героя своя судьба, своя трогательная история, и свой, так красиво придуманный образ.
И еще в этом мультике есть музыка. Наверное, он не запал бы настолько мне в душу, если б не она. Я тогда еще не знала английского, поэтому ходила и пела все песни из «Олимпиады» на собственном, выдуманном, но вполне американском языке (просто сочиняла слова, которые были похожи). Так, собственно, я и пела до прошлой недели, пока не наткнулась на группу 10сс, и на человека, который был композитором всех тех песен, которые я так обожаю с самого детства – Грэхам Гулдмэн (Graham Gouldman). Для мультка «Олимпиада зверей», второй перевод «ЗОО-олимпийские игры» и перевод, который я встретила в википедии «Олимпиада животных» был записан целый альбом Animalympics. И я вам скажу, что благодаря этому альбому мультик смотрится с двойным удовольствием, так как каждая песня и музыкальная зарисовка добавляют и без того живым персонажам еще большую выразительность.
Музыка 10сс – образец того, с каким пониманием и любовью можно озвучить семейный мультфильм. Четкий ритм шагов бегущей пантеры, альпийская деревня Дог-лэнд, в которую попадает заблудившийся в горах пес-горнолыжник, галлюциногенная волна, накрывающая выдру-серфера – весь этот коктейль мультипликации и звука приносит чумовой эффект, который я до сих пор не в состоянии объяснить.

My favorite characters are the African panther runner Kit Mambo, the European goat runner Rene Fromage, the slalom dog Kurt Wufner, and the otter swimmer whose name I forgot again. Of course they were beautiful. The plot is simple: all animals take part in the ZOO Olympiad, each represents his own country, and each strives for victory. Relationships with trainers, rest after the competition, reports on ZOO-TV, advertisements for cereals, cosmetics, and other products used by Olympic animals are shown. Everything is completely human.
I can’t describe in words how much drive there is in this cartoon, how much fiction, how much good humor without “farts and shreks”. Each hero has his own destiny, his own touching story, and his own, so beautifully invented image.
And there is music in this cartoon. He probably wouldn’t sink into my soul so much if it weren’t for her. I didn’t yet know English, so I went and sang all the songs from the Olympics in my own, invented, but completely American language (I simply composed words that were similar). So, in fact, I sang until last week, until I came across a group of 10cc, and the person who was the composer of all those songs that I have loved since childhood - Graham Gouldman (Graham Gouldman). For the animated film "Animal Olympics", the second translation of "ZOO-Olympic Games" and the translation that I met on the Wikipedia "Animal Olympics" was a whole album Animalympics. And I’ll tell you that thanks to this album, the cartoon looks with double pleasure, since each song and musical sketch add even more expressiveness to living characters.
Music 10cc is an example of how family love can be voiced with understanding and love. The clear rhythm of the steps of the running panther, the alpine Dogland village, which gets the dog-skier lost in the mountains, the hallucinogenic wave that covers the otter-surfer - this whole cocktail of animation and sound brings a crazy effect, which I still cannot explain.
