Когда живешь на острове, то от соленой воды постепенно устаешь, да и озер здесь в Доминикане не так много. Большинство или очень маленькие и не обозначены на карте, к некоторым нет подхода, или там крокодилы плавают :). Как, например, в самом соленом озере мира – Lago Enriquillo.
В районе Rio San Juan, рядом с пляжем Caleton, мы нашли совершенно космические карстовые озера, и Ильич даже креветку руками поймал, довольно крупную. Тут же на костре и пожарил. When you live on an island, you gradually get tired of salt water, and there are not so many lakes in the Dominican Republic.
