Как мы привыкли отправлять посылки в России? Идешь на почту. Стоишь в очереди. Обязательно покупаешь почтовую коробку или пакет, в своей упаковке отправлять нельзя (because fuck you, that's why). Пишешь от руки адрес и таможенную декларацию, если не догадался заполнить и распечатать бланки с сайта. Дальше посылку взвешивают, оклеивают почтовым скотчем, еще раз взвешивают. Потом тетенька в окошке долго перепечатывает на компьютере все данные с бланков вручную (даже если они были заполнены и распечатаны с сайта почты), часто делая ошибки уровня первого класса. Наконец ты оплачиваешь отправку (только наличные, банковские карты не принимаются) и получаешь чек с треком. На обработку одной посылки у почтового оператора уходит минимум 10 минут. Соответственно, провести в почтовом отделении можно до часа-двух, в зависимости от длины очереди и уровня интеллекта сотрудников почты.
Я это к чему. Сегодня впервые отправлял посылку в Германии и был ошеломлен тем, как просто это можно сделать. Абсолютно все автоматизировано. Заполняешь данные отправителя и получателя онлайн на сайте Deutsche Post, указываешь вес отправления, выбираешь класс пересылки, оплачиваешь кредиткой. На e-mail приходит почтовая этикетка, где уже указны все данные и есть трек-номер. Эту этикетку надо распечатать на обычном принтере и наклеить на посылку, при этом почте Германии абсолютно все равно, как и во что ты ее упакуешь. Хоть в коробку из секс-шопа. Дальше упакованную посылку с наклеенной этикеткой нужно, собственно, отправить - вариантов куча: можно принести в почтовое отделение и отдать в руки оператору (там сосканируют штрихкод с этикетки и тут же выдадут вам квитанцию об отправке, занимает это секунд 10). Можно отнести в PaketShop - это любое заведение, например магазин, которое по договору с почтой принимает и выдает посылки. А можно самостоятельно отправить на PackStation - это автомат, где посылка прикладывается к сканеру штрих-кодов и опускается в приемное окошко, после чего автомат печатает вам квитанцию. Такие PackStation встречаются часто и работают круглосуточно.
Почему в России не могут сделать по тому же принципу - тайна сия велика есть.
