Почему 27 января в 75 годовщину полного снятия блокады Ленинграда мы с детьми отправились на Крейсер "Аврора"?
Потому что именно там служил мой двоюродный дедушка Федоров Александр Николаевич.
И когда началась война с него был назначен военкомом ОВРа Невской губы Морской обороны города Ленинграда.
Многие сейчас воспринимают Крейсер Аврора как какой-то исторический муляж, который и известен-то одним своим холостым выстрелом.
Хотя этот прославленный крейсер принимал участие и в Русско-японской войне, и в Первой мировой, и в спасении итальянской Мессины, и даже в Великой Отечественной Войне.
Находясь под Ораниенбаумом крейсер отражал атаки бомбардировщиков, т.к. с первых дней ВОВ он был включен в систему противовоздушной обороны Ленинграда и Кронштадта.
Позже часть орудий была снята с Авроры и сформирована в батарею "А" с размещением на Дудергофских высотах.
Также часть личного состава была переведена на действующие боевые корабли и на сухопутный фронт.
А дедушка был легендарным, почти мифическим героем в нашей семье. Хотя воевали все. О нём я всегда помнила особенно, не зная подробностей. Мой папа очень гордился своим дядей, но я тогда была совсем маленькой.
И вот сегодня на сайте Память Народа я нашла его наградной лист. И что более редко и удивительно подробное описание за что. Как он выводил под обстрелом плав. средства, как с идущего катера подавлял огневые точки противника, очищал морской канал от мин, как своим примером вдохновлял личный состав.
До снятия блокады он не дожил. Погиб летом 42го.
Во время высадки десанта в Усть-Луге их корабль слишком близко подошел к берегу и водоросли намотались на винт. Под обстрелом он прыгнул в воду, чтобы освободить его. Там и был убит.
