В 2011 году Санкт-Петербург присоединился к уникальному и интересному творческому проекту "Balcony TV". Сегодня этот проект охватывает весь мир. Россия представлена, к сожалению (как я увидел на сайте, но что интересно!!) только Санкт-Петербургом и... Крымом (Севастополь). Ранее там я наблюдал и Саратов, и Кострому.. сейчас что-то они пропали. Итак:
"Проект Balcony TV был создан любопытным парнем из Дублина по имени Стивен О-Риган в 2006 году. Он всего лишь задумался, для чего можно приспособить вечно пустующий балкон. Вскоре к затее присоединились Том Миллетт и Полин Фриман. Сейчас это одно из популярнейших в мире интернет-шоу. Каждый день на сайте проекта появляются новые записи с разных балконов со всего света. Если ролик снят качественно и, самое главное, на балконе или на крыше, то видео попадет в Сеть. Хорошо бы еще музыка не подкачала.
Сначала в оборот была взята Европа. Потом, естественно, фривольный проект хорошо прижился в Соединенных Штатах.
Теперь добрались до России... На Balcony TV — никаких продюсеров и дорогостоящих пиар-кампаний. Например, ирландская инди-рок-группа The Script впервые сыграла на балконе в 2007 году, в 2011-м ребята уже записали платиновый альбом. И таких историй много. Музыканты записывают в определённом местными организаторами проекта месте видео-ролик, где исполняют в живую одну композицию и дают краткое интервью о себе и своём творчестве. В описании к ролику обычно выкладывают ссылки на свои ресурсы и контактную информацию.
В Питере проект основан и ведётся Севой Гаккелем, который открыл его блуждая по сети. Так же в организаторах Алла Слободенюк, Марк Титов (звук), Александр Сенин и другие... волонтёры. Да - все волонтёры. Проект не коммерческий. По Земному шару проект охватывает сейчас 56 городов (балконов и крыш:). В записи принимает широкий контингент музыкантов - от начинающих любителей и представителей местного андеграунда до культовых и звёздных исполнителей. Табель о рангах отсутствует))
Присоединиться к проекту не сложно. http://www.balconytv.com/cities - выбираем свой город и находим контакт куда слать заявку. По Питеру вот ссылки (не понимаю... почему нет ни Москвы.. ни других наших городов..)

Профотбор и Худсовет - Всеволод Яковлевич Гаккель. Думаю, что музыкантам его представлять не надо.
Питерская саунд-концепция - никакого металла, харда, панка.. и прочей усиленно-агрессивной музыки, никакого гламура, попсы и шансона.
Периодически я с большим удовольствием совершаю серфинг по свежевыложенным роликам. Вот вчера ночью завис... выкладываю здесь подборку того, что понравилось мне (плюс наш ролик давнишний, в составе Академии Странствий: Марк Бомштейн, Макс Жерновой, Елизавета Тинкельман - ижорская песня Иванов день, перевод мой, вольный)). В подборке такие города, как - Остин, Дели, Лос Анжелес, Нэшвилл, Южная Африка (где-то на природе), Вена, Саншайн Кост (Австралия), Буэнос Айрес).

In St. Petersburg, the project was founded and conducted by Seva Gakkel, who discovered it wandering around the network. Also, the organizers are Alla Slobodenyuk, Mark Titov (sound), Alexander Senin and others ... volunteers. Yes - all volunteers. The project is not commercial. Across the globe, the project now covers 56 cities (balconies and roofs :). The recording takes a wide contingent of musicians - from beginner lovers and representatives of the local underground to cult and star performers. There is no ranking table))
