Я запомнил его таким (как на фото), на всю жизнь. Я благодарен ему за вдохновение. А встретились мы впервые в 1991-м году, на бёзднике Джорджа Харрисона, в ЛРК на Рубинштейна 13. В январе наша группа Камер Бэнд получила приглашение выступить. Условия - 3 песни - 2 Джорджа и можно одну свою. Мы начали напряженно репетировать, с волнением и вдохновенно. За спиной было всего несколько выступлений... одно в шайбе Универа (в Петергофе), второе в зале для работников ЖЭКа на Дыбенко.. (хотя, возможно, что второе было уже после.. тем страшнее).
В День Рождения Джорджа мы были на месте, почти в полном составе:
Максим Жерновой, Андрей Садов, Юра Иващенко, Виктор Местников, Игорь Воронов. Дима Розе (наш звукорежиссёр) - остался дома с температурой. Исполняли: "Ай нид ю", "Ай билив ин ю", "Старый рояль".
Короткое выступление.. но запомнилось почему-то навсегда и в мельчайших деталях. И вопрос нашего гитариста - "а куда мне воткнуть джек" и ответ звукаря рок-клубовского на весь зал - "в жопу себе воткни".. и исполнение песни "Ай билив ин ю"... которая была наша, авторская .. под битлов (в записи не сохранилась) - вопрос из зала: " А с какого это альбома???" - и мой ответ "это с пиратского альбома с концерта в Гоа"...
А во время исполнения нашего минорного рок-н-ролла "Подари мне старый рояль" - Коля Васин радостно танцевал на сцене и хлопал в ладоши, как на фото...
Ещё помню, на сходе со цены - встретили следующих музыкантов. Я был немного в тумане.. Один спросил - Круто! Вы откуда такие? - из Питера..- Ну, удачи! и они взошли ..и заиграли "Вайл май гитар.." один в один. Мы стояли в коридоре, Садов меня спросил - ты понял с кем сейчас говорил? Я - нет, а кто это? - Это Юрий Морозов!!!! Это было как будто посвящение в рыцари Рок-н-Ролла...
Я скорблю об уходе Коли, уходе той эпохи. Долго думал, что написать, потому что чувствовал необходимость высказаться. О Коле Васине и его Пути, о нём и его заслугах напишут наверное ещё очень много. Его знали все, кто в рок-н-ролле... Я решил просто описать один день. Встречу. Первую. Думаю у очень-очень многих музыкантов были такие же с ним встречи.
Жизнь устроена не так, как нам хочется, но всё же.. Музыка ещё звучит и медленный поезд держит свой путь дальше.

And the question of our guitarist - “where should I stick a jack” and the answer of a rock club singer to the whole hall - “stick yourself in the ass” .. and the performance of the song “Ay biliv in u” ... which was ours, the author’s Beatles (not saved in the recording) - a question from the audience: "And from what album is this ???" - and my answer is "it's from a pirate album from a concert in Goa" ...
And during the performance of our minor rock and roll “Give me the old piano” - Kolya Vasin joyfully danced on stage and clapped his hands, as in the photo ...
I also remember, at the descent from the price, we met the following musicians. I was a little in the fog .. One asked - Cool! Where are you from? - from Peter ..- Well, good luck! and they got up .. and started playing "Wile May Guitars .." one to one. We stood in the corridor, Sadov asked me - did you understand who you were talking to? I - no, and who is it? - This is Yuri Morozov !!!! It was like a knight of Rock and Roll ...
I mourn the departure of Kolya, the departure of that era. Long thought what to write, because I felt the need to speak. Probably a lot more will be written about Kolya Vasin and his Way, about him and his merits. He was known to everyone in rock and roll ... I decided to just describe one day. Meeting. First one. I think very, very many musicians had the same meetings with him.
Life is not arranged the way we want, but still .. The music still sounds and the slow train keeps its way on.
