28 августа ― УСПЕНИЕ ПРЕСВЯТОЙ БОГОРОДИЦЫ.
С Праздником христиане!
Праздник православной и католической церквей, посвящённый воспоминанию кончины (успения) Божией Матери. В православии принадлежит к числу двунадесятых. Согласно церковному преданию, в этот день апостолы, проповедовавшие в различных странах, чудесным образом собрались в Иерусалиме, чтобы проститься и совершить погребение Девы Марии.
БОГОРОДИЦЫНО УСПЕНЬЕ
Нам нетленье открыло встарь.
Возликуйте во песнопеньи,
Заводите красно тропарь.
Во саду Богоматерь дремлет,
Словно спит Она и не спит,
В тонком сне Она пенью внемлет, -
Божий вестник пред Ней стоит.
Тот же ангел благовествует,
Но посуплен и смутен он,
Ветвью темною указует,
Что приходит последний сон.
Наклонилась раба Господня:
― Вот готова я умереть,
Но позволь мне, Господь, сегодня
Всех апостолов вновь узреть. ―
Во свечах, во святых тимьянах
Богородицы чтут конец,
Лишь замедлил во Индинианах
Во далеких Фома близнец.
Он спешит из-за рек глубоких,
Из-за сизых высоких гор,
Но апостолов одиноких
Неутешный обрел собор.
Говорит Фома милым братьям:
"Неужели я хуже всех?
Богородицыным объятьям
За какой непричастен грех?
Жажду, братия, поклониться,
Лобызать тот святой порог,
Где Небесная спит Царица
На распутий всех дорог".
Клонит голову он тоскливо,
Греет камни пожаром уст...
Гроб открыли... Святое диво!
Гроб Марии обрящен пуст.
Где Пречистой лежало тело,
Рвался роз заревой поток.
Что ручьем парчевым блестело?
То Владычицы поясок.
О, цветы! о, ручьи! о, люди!
О, небес голубая сень!
О златом, о нетленном чуде
Говорится в Успеньев день.
Ты и Дева, и Мать Святая,
Ты и родина в пору гроз:
Встанет, скорбная, расцветая
Буйным проливнем новых роз!

Feast of the Orthodox and Catholic churches dedicated to the memory of the death (assumption) of the Mother of God. In Orthodoxy is one of the twelve. According to church tradition, on this day, the apostles who preached in various countries miraculously gathered in Jerusalem to say goodbye and burial of the Virgin Mary.
BOGORODITSYNO SUCCESS
Imperishability opened to us old.
Exalt in the chants
Turn red troparia.
In the garden, the Virgin is dozing,
It’s like she’s sleeping and she’s not sleeping,
In a thin dream, She hears with a stump, -
God's messenger stands before Her.
The same angel preaches the gospel
But he is dumb and dull,
Branch dark indicates
That last dream comes.
The servant of the Lord bent down:
- Here I am ready to die,
But let me Lord today
To see all the apostles again. -
By candlelight, in holy thyme
Mother of God honor the end
Just slowed down in the Indiana
In distant Thomas twin.
He hurries because of the deep rivers
Because of the gray high mountains
But the lonely apostles
The inconsolable found the cathedral.
Thomas says to his lovely brothers:
"Am I the worst of all?
Mother of God embrace
What sin is not involved?
Thirst, brethren, bow
To kiss that holy threshold
Where the Queen of Heaven sleeps
At the crossroads of all roads. "
He bends his head sadly,
Heats the stones with a fire ...
The coffin was opened ... Holy wonder!
The coffin of Mary is baptized empty.
Where the body lay,
Bursting roses glow stream.
What brocade sparkled?
That is the mistress of the belt.
Oh flowers! oh streams! oh people!
Oh heaven blue canopy!
About the golden, about the imperishable miracle
It is spoken on an Assumption Day.
You are both Virgin and Holy Mother,
You and the motherland during thunderstorms:
Will rise, mournful, blooming
A riotous spill of new roses!
