Когда-то давно читал этот текст Артура Кальмейера..
(https://art-of-arts.livejournal.com). Давно уже. Писатель имеет отношение к нефтянке и владеет темой.

Родился в Харькове в 1938 году. По профессии инженер и математик. Эмигрировал из СССР в феврале 1978 года, после года тяжелейшей борьбы за выезд, и с тех пор живёт в северной Калифорнии. В последние годы Кальмейер пишет стихи по-русски и по-английски, публикует короткие рассказы и эссе. Много путешествует. В Ст.Петербургском издательстве "Геликон Плюс" вышли четыре его книги: сборник стихов "Возвращение" (2004 г.), две книги стихов и рассказов "Стук в дверь" (2006 г.) и "Театр Кукол" (2007 г.) и книга переводов "Поэты говорят по-русски в переводах Артура Кальмейера" (2009 г.). Его рассказы были напечатаны в сборнике "Русский Акцент", изданном Международной Ассоциацией Писателей и Журналистов в 2005 г. Публиковался в российских поэтических сборниках и многочисленных интернетных изданиях.

В свете текущих мировых событий вспомнил и отыскал эти жежешные тексты. Решил перечитать. Оставляю здесь ссылки на все части, ибо текст сразу тогда не осилил, но помню, что познавательно.. и тогда, в 2008 - он имел ещё и характер прогноза. Надо проанализировать его ретроспективно относительно того, что сейчас происходит. На некоторое время пусть побудет в закрепе.

Once upon a time I read this text by Arthur Kalmeyer ..

Born in Kharkov in 1938. By profession, engineer and mathematician. He emigrated from the USSR in February 1978, after a year of hard struggle for exit, and has since been living in northern California. In recent years, Calmeyer has written poetry in Russian and English, published short stories and essays. Travels a lot.
