В песне Фрэнка Синатры про Нью- Йорк есть такая строчка:
These vagabond shoes are longing to stray
Эти башмаки- бродяги скучают без ходьбы
right through the VERY HEART of it
Прямо через самое его сердце

Обычно слово "very- очень" мы используем:
???? перед прилагательными very nice, very beautiful etc
????после глаголов "I like it very much" (да-да, дословный перевод с русского не работает. Не можем мы сказать I very like it. Нельзя????
Некоторые говорят I very much like it и это допустимо, но традиционно very much ставится в конец фразы????)
Так вот through the VERY heart of it вызвало недоумение у моих учеников.
Но на самом деле это очень распространенная конструкция, которая используется для усиления речи. И здесь будет переводиться "через САМОЕ сердце"
Мы можем сказать He interrupted us in the VERY middle of our conversation (он прервал нас прямо по середине разговора)
He started to behave stupidly at the VERY beginning of the meeting (он начал вести себя глупо с самого начала встречи)
Вот как-то так????
