Интересно, что ни один из интервьюированных в статье не находит никаких слов в защиту Януковича, а один из его ближайших соратников, бывший губернатор Харьковской области, Добкин говорит (знакомя англоязычных читателей с классикой советского кино): «“When a leader stops being a leader, all the people around him fall away,” Mr. Dobkin said. “That is the rule.” He added, “To betray on time is not to betray, but to foresee.”»
В общем, статья даёт выпуклую картину того, как Янукович, формально не отказываясь от власти, буквально за пару дней превратился в ничто.
