Для каждого из нас есть определённые даты в жизни, которые западают в душу. Кто-то ждёт новый год, для других важен день рождения свой или ребёнка, третьи ждут пасху...
Для выпускников физического факультета таким днём навсегда останется вторая пятница апреля - это день самого большого праздника СПбГУ.
Первый раз я познакомился с Днём Физика в 2002 году, ещё будучи школьником. Наша замечательная классная руководительница [id251946|Юлия Рувимовна], тоже выпускница физ.фака, решила нас, молодых ещё ребят, свозить на этот праздник, показать факультет, познакомить с традициями. Тогда всё казалось просто нереальным - толпы народа, всеобщее веселье, студенты и преподавателями вместе, как давние друзья, в обнимку поют песни. Большой шахматный турнир был в центре праздника - на втором этаже между лестницами. Уже тогда меня некоторые студенты узнавали и пригласили сыграть несколько партий. Для школьников 11-классников это были просто захватывающие эмоции, после которых я уже твёрдо решил, что буду поступать именно сюда.
На первом курсе День Физика пришлось пропустить из-за последнего крупного шахматного турнира в моей жизни, но дальше в течение многих лет в этот день все возможные дела и планы отходили на второй план из-за События. Начиная с третьего курса я был постоянным организатором и шахматного турнира, и вместе с друзьями проводили игры в Мафию (всё по-взрослому, с музыкой, масками, профессиональными ведущими и картами), в Чапаева (да, этой игре тоже нашлось место у нас) и ЧГК. Мои друзья организовывали тараканьи бега на скорость, и если на первых курсах победой была банка пива, то после уже пиво отменили на факультете, и спрос на тараканов слегка уменьшился :)
А сколько эмоций у нас вызывали факельные шествия до общежитий... Это просто не передать словами! Это надо видеть! Поэтому прикрепил несколько фотографий :)
Но кульминацией любого дня физика всегда был Challenge Cup - это КВН между командами Профи (преподаватели) и Люби (студенты). Наверное, студентам других ВУЗов не понять эти моменты, когда ты сдаёшь зачёт преподавателю, а потом он в одних трусах в бодиарте спускается в концерном зале на сцену, или когда старенький преподаватель, который до аудитории доходит еле-еле с палочкой в руках, который и слышит уже не очень хорошо, пляшет на сцене, как молодой!
Четыре десятка лет этой традиции уже, и в каждую вторую пятницу апреля все физики и гости, среди которых был и ректорат СПбГУ, собирались на факультете, чтобы снова устроить этот праздник. Но в этом году традицию пришлось нарушить, к сожалению, потому что здоровье важнее любых праздников. Но мне хотелось бы , чтобы все мои друзья, без относительно к причастности, смогли хоть ненадолго погрузиться в ту атмосферу большого общего счастья.

The first time I met Physics Day in 2002, while still a schoolboy. Our wonderful class teacher [id251946 | Yulia Ruvimovna], also a graduate of the Faculty of Physics, decided to take us young children to this holiday, show the faculty, and introduce them to traditions. Then everything seemed simply unreal - crowds of people, general fun, students and teachers together, like old friends, sing songs in their arms. The big chess tournament was in the center of the celebration - on the second floor between the stairs. Even then, some students recognized me and invited me to play several games. For 11th-graders, these were simply exciting emotions, after which I already firmly decided that I would do it here.
In the first year, I had to miss the Physicist Day because of the last major chess tournament in my life, but then for many years on that day all possible things and plans faded into the background because of the Event. Starting from the third year I was a regular organizer of a chess tournament, and together with my friends I played games in the Mafia (all in an adult way, with music, masks, professional presenters and maps), in Chapaev (yes, this game also found a place with us) and ChGK. My friends organized cockroach races for speed, and if in the first courses a can of beer was the victory, then after the beer was canceled at the faculty, and the demand for cockroaches slightly decreased :)
And how many emotions torchlight processions to the dormitories caused in us ... It's just beyond words! This is a must see! Therefore, I attached some photos :)
But the culmination of any day, the physicist has always been the Challenge Cup - this is the KVN between the teams of Pros (teachers) and Lubi (students). Probably, students of other universities do not understand these moments when you pass the test to the teacher, and then he comes down to the stage in body pants in the bodycloth, or when the old teacher, who barely reaches the audience with a wand in his hands, he hears not very well anymore, dances on the stage like a young one!

But this year, it was necessary to break the tradition, unfortunately, because health is more important than any holidays. But I would like all my friends, without a relative involvement, to be able to at least briefly immerse themselves in that atmosphere of great general happiness.
