Воздействие на окружающую среду и ущерб для экосистемы в районе станции «Шиес» обсудили ученые на Географическом семинаре в Сыктывкаре, организованном Коми республиканским отделением Русского географического общества, 26 ноября сообщает корреспондент ИА Красная Весна.
По словам кандидата биологических наук Владимира Елсакова, выбор местоположения полигонов ТБО сопряжен со многими рисками, и поэтому к размещению подобных объектов нужно подходить очень ответственно. Учитывая достаточно большую значимость для республики Коми и общественный интерес к проблематике построения полигона ТБО в районе станции «Шиес», учеными был проведен комплекс исследований.

«Нарушение гидравлического режима территории в результате строительства полигона особо негативно отразится на состоянии заболоченности экосистем, это приведет к исчезновению индикаторных видов, появятся нехарактерные для лесных и болотных сообществ растения и животные», — подытожил свое выступление Владимир Елсаков.

Следующий докладчик, кандидат экономических наук Татьяна Вячеславовна Тихонова, познакомила семинаристов с проблемами оценки ущерба при реализации проектов полигонов ТБО. Эксперт рассказала об основных методах и критериях выбора территорий под подобные объекты, как планируемого возле станции «Шиес».

По мнению ученого предполагаемый ущерб окружающей среде для площади полигона в 15 га может составить от 45 до 360 млрд рублей. При этом уже сейчас на стройку возле станции Шиес затрачено порядка 10,5 млрд рублей, а декларируемые налоговые поступления за 6 лет в бюджет составят около 1 млрд рублей. Предполагаемые объемы захоронений по разным данным варьируют от 550 тыс. тонн до 2 млн тонн отходов в год.

Environmental impact and damage to the ecosystem in the area of the Shies station were discussed by scientists at the Geographic Seminar in Syktyvkar, organized by the Komi Republican Branch of the Russian Geographical Society, a Krasnaya Vesna correspondent reports November 26.
According to the candidate of biological sciences Vladimir Yelsakov, the choice of location of solid waste landfills is fraught with many risks, and therefore, the placement of such objects must be approached very responsibly. Given the rather significant significance for the Komi Republic and the public interest in the problems of constructing a solid waste landfill in the vicinity of the Shies station, a series of studies was carried out by scientists.

“Violation of the territory’s hydraulic regime as a result of the construction of the landfill will have a particularly negative impact on the state of wetlands of ecosystems, this will lead to the disappearance of indicator species, plants and animals that are uncharacteristic for forest and bog communities,” Vladimir Yelsakov summed up his speech.

The next speaker, Tatyana Vyacheslavovna Tikhonova, Ph.D. in Economics, introduced the seminarians to the problems of damage assessment during the implementation of solid waste landfill projects. The expert spoke about the main methods and criteria for choosing territories for such objects, as planned near the Shies station.

According to the scientist, the estimated damage to the environment for a landfill area of 15 hectares may be from 45 to 360 billion rubles. At the same time, about 10.5 billion rubles have already been spent on a construction site near the Shies station, and the declared tax revenues for 6 years to the budget will amount to about 1 billion rubles. Estimated burial volumes, according to various sources, vary from 550 thousand tons to 2 million tons of waste per year.
