После громоздкого и довольно плоского The Days Of Future Past, было немного боязно смотреть Апокалипсиса, потому что древний Египет и летающие пирамиды.. Some tricky stuff! Тем не менее, фильм смотрелся легко и не хотел откусить больше, чем мог. История была выстроена вокруг всего лишь одного конфликта (всего одного! Как старомодно!), все были на своих местах, и мотивы каждого были понятны. Не была чувства, что слишком много персонажей летают в воздухе на квадратную секунду фильма, действие развивалось достаточно логично ну или хотя бы без особенных plot devices. Апокалипсис мог бы быть по-страшнее чисто визуально, да и в плане грима быть ближе к оригинальному дизайну, но с другой стороны - почему бы и нет, особенно, если учесть, что в этом варианте очень мило считываются египетские мотивы. Да, Египет... Все заметили, что там не было белых актёров?!!! (Yes, I'm looking at you Exodus and Gods of Egypt!!!). Это не так сложно - сделать древний Египет - пусть и фантастический его вариант - похожим на древний Египет.
Вообще открывающая сцена порадовала музыкальным сопровождением и антуражем.
Открывающие титры были наверное самыми интересными за всю историю фильмов о Людях Икс - компактный экскурс в историю с лёгким налётом арт-деко.
Восьмидесятые пусть и не стали главным героем повествования (где громадные плечики?!), но внесли кое-где приятный колорит, которые приблизил фильм по ощущениям к мультфильмам и комиксам (плюс ностальгический музон).
Самым главным минусом, который для меня тянется уже несколько фильмов - это Дженнифер Лоуренс, которую пихают на передовую, когда ни она сама, ни её персонаж не заслуживают такого пристального внимания. но это лично моё мнение, вопрос предпочтений и все такое...
Ещё меня не очень порадовала мисс Тёрнер, но может быть меня просто мало волнует Джин Грей. Довольно впечатляющие сцены разрушений, неплохой эмоциональный фон персонажей, юморочек в нужных местах и приятные пасхалочки и намёки - все это причина, почему из кино я вышла довольным зрителем. Капитан Америка мог бы взять несколько уроков у этого фильма в плане распределения экранного времени между героями повествования.
Некоторые моменты даже что-то пересмотреть охота.

After the bulky and rather flat The Days Of Future Past, it was a little scary to watch the Apocalypse, because ancient Egypt and the flying pyramids .. Some tricky stuff! Nevertheless, the film looked easy and did not want to bite off more than it could. The story was built around just one conflict (just one! How old-fashioned!), Everyone was in their place, and everyone’s motives were clear. There was no feeling that too many characters were flying in the air for a square second of the film, the action developed quite logically well, or at least without special plot devices. The apocalypse could have been worse, purely visual, and in terms of make-up closer to the original design, but on the other hand - why not, especially when you consider that Egyptian motifs are read very nicely in this version. Yes, Egypt ... Everyone noticed that there were no white actors? !!! (Yes, I'm looking at you Exodus and Gods of Egypt !!!). It is not so difficult to make ancient Egypt - albeit a fantastic version of it - similar to ancient Egypt.
In general, the opening scene was pleased with the musical accompaniment and surroundings.
The opening credits were probably the most interesting in the history of X-Men films - a compact excursion into history with a touch of art deco.
Eighties did not even become the protagonist of the story (where are the huge shoulders ?!), but in some places they brought a pleasant touch that brought the film closer to the cartoons and comics (plus nostalgic Mouzon).
The main drawback that several films have already stretched for me is Jennifer Lawrence, who is shoved into the front lines when neither she herself nor her character deserve such close attention. but this is my personal opinion, a matter of preferences and all that ...
Miss Turner was not very pleased with me, but maybe Gene Gray just doesn't bother me much. Quite impressive scenes of destruction, a good emotional background of the characters, humor in the right places and nice easter eggs and hints - all this is the reason why I left the movie as a happy spectator. Captain America could take several lessons from this film in terms of the distribution of screen time between the characters in the story.
Some points even have something to reexamine hunting.
