СОВМЕСТНОЕ ЗАЯВЛЕНИЕ ДЕМОКРАТИЧЕСКИХ СИЛ ПО 10 АВГУСТА
Выборы часто разъединяют разные политические силы, но только не нынешняя кампания в Мосгордуму. После того, как власти решили снять с выборов всех имевших шансы на победу независимых кандидатов, возмущенные горожане вышли на улицы города. Они хотели настоящих выборов, а не их имитации, они требовали уважать их право на выбор.
Московские и федеральные власти ответили на их мирный протест беззаконием и жестокостью. После акции 27 июля у мэрии Москвы силовики задержали почти 1400 человек и завели уголовное дело по 212-й статье, хотя весь город видел, что никаких массовых беспорядков не было, что это полицейские избивали лежащих на земле людей дубинками, ломали им ноги и пробивали головы.
Расчет власти не оправдался, москвичи не испугались, и 3 августа на мирную прогулку по бульварам, которую мэрия сочла несанкционированной акцией, снова вышли тысячи людей. Дело снова закончилось избиением людей, задержанием тысячи человек и издевательствами над ними в отделах полиции.
10 августа мы проведем большой мирный митинг на проспекте Сахарова за допуск всех кандидатов на выборы и закрытие сфабрикованных политически мотивированных уголовных дел. Мы — это независимые от мэрии кандидаты в депутаты Мосгордумы, муниципальные депутаты Москвы и другие демократические силы.
При этом мы настаиваем, что у москвичей есть право свободно гулять по своему городу, а не только на отдельно взятом огороженном проспекте под присмотром избивающей их полиции. И власть обязана обеспечить их право гулять по городу, в том числе 10 августа.

JOINT STATEMENT OF DEMOCRATIC FORCES ON AUGUST 10
Elections often disconnect different political forces, but not the current campaign in the Moscow City Duma. After the authorities decided to remove from the election all the independent candidates who had a chance of victory, the indignant citizens took to the streets of the city. They wanted real elections, not their imitation, they demanded respect for their right to choose.
Moscow and federal authorities responded to their peaceful protest with lawlessness and cruelty. After the rally on July 27, security officials detained nearly 1,400 people at the Moscow City Hall and opened a criminal case under Article 212, although the whole city saw that there were no riots, that the police beat people lying on the ground with batons, broke their legs and punched their heads .
The calculation of power was not justified, Muscovites were not afraid, and on August 3, thousands of people again went out on a peaceful walk along the boulevards, which the city hall considered an unauthorized rally. The case again ended in beating people, detaining thousands of people and bullying them in police departments.
On August 10, we will hold a large peaceful rally on Sakharov Avenue for the admission of all candidates for the election and the closure of fabricated politically motivated criminal cases. We are candidates for deputies of the Moscow City Duma, municipal deputies of Moscow and other democratic forces, independent of the city hall.
At the same time, we insist that Muscovites have the right to freely walk around their city, and not just on a separate fenced avenue under the supervision of the police beating them. And the government is obliged to ensure their right to walk around the city, including on August 10.
