- “Vedomosti”: the presidential administration made conclusions from the elections to the Moscow City Duma: in particular, they recognized the success of the “Smart Vote” and decided that some of the opposition should still be allowed to go to the polls;
- The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow filed two lawsuits against Alexei Navalny and other opposition leaders for a total of almost 18 million rubles;
- The State Duma introduced a bill to block users of instant messengers and e-mail for disseminating "prohibited information." Sources in the Ministry of Communications say the media that this is technically impossible.
