На ВиЭ мы вышивали. Решили, что раз строим замок, то будем вышивать знамена. Конечно, вышитое знамя, это только версия, но почему бы и нет. Работали шерстью в прикреп, потому что, во-первых, прикреп это здорово, во-вторых, шерстью зрителям-новичкам проще. Изображения адаптировали с герба Шотландии (лев) и из Манесского кодекса (наша любимая роза).
Попробовали средневековый способ переноса рисунка: протыкали дырочки в бумаге и прокрашивали охрой. Получилось очень здорово, охра на яичном желтке не стирается с ткани, рисунок четко видно, никаких лишних ниток при этом нет, и вышивать удобно. Будем так делать еще.
Ах, да, еще я попробовала сочетать прикреп с косой стежкой, которую освоила на ходу. Получается красивое и правильное сочетание разных фактур и объема. Так тоже будем делать.
На фото (спасибо [id4721703|Юлия Бубнова]) я делаю гриву льва белой шерстью в прикреп льном. Получается выразительная игра линий, грива оживает просто на глазах.

We have embroidered on renewable energy. We decided that since we were building a castle, we would embroider banners. Of course, the embroidered banner is only a version, but why not. They worked with wool in the attachment, because, firstly, attachment is great, and secondly, it is easier for beginner viewers to wear wool. Images adapted from the coat of arms of Scotland (lion) and from the Codex of Manes (our favorite rose).
They tried the medieval way of transferring the picture: they punched holes in the paper and stained it with ocher. It turned out very cool, the ocher on the egg yolk is not erased from the fabric, the pattern is clearly visible, there are no extra threads at the same time, and it is convenient to embroider. We will do so again.
Ah, yes, I also tried to combine the attachment with a slanting stitch, which I mastered on the go. It turns out a beautiful and correct combination of different textures and volume. So we will do too.
In the photo (thanks [id4721703 | Julia Bubnova]) I make a mane of a lion with white hair in a flax attached. It turns out an expressive game of lines, the mane comes to life just before our eyes.
