Попалось на глаза упоминание системы связи "Алтай", заинтересовался, немного почитал. Если вкратце, СССР первым в мире (в 1965 году) запустил в работу мобильные телефоны. Правда, тогда это были авто-мобильные телефоны, но это уже мелочи. Причем что самое удивительное, до начала нулевых эта система была еще жива и вполне конкурировала с нынешней сотовой связью. Это сейчас мобильный телефон есть у каждого бомжа, но десять-пятнадцать лет назад сотовая связь была еще не так распространена. И умирание целого класса мобильной связи прошло незаметно для окружающих.
