Cambridge больше про точные науки, Oxford специализируется на искусстве. Университетам по 800 лет, и всё это время они конкурируют между собой, поэтому, находясь в Кембридже, непринято упоминать Оксфорд ("the other place"), и наоборот????
Стоимость обучения - около миллиона рублей в год.
Университеты, как водится в Англии, поддерживают традиции и ритуалы, некоторые из которых возникли еще в 16-м веке! Ни в одном университете мира нет такого количества условностей. Например, итоговые экзамены нужно сдавать исключительно в мантиях. Выдача мантий для церемоний проводится в строго определенных комнатах - отдельно для профессоров, отдельно для сотрудников без степени и т.д.
