Этот турнир единственный из четырёх турниров Большого Шлема, проходящий на траве. Трава в силу своей непредсказуемости считается самым сложным покрытием для теннисистов.
Wimbledon славится своими традициями (это же Англия!????). Одна из них - требование к униформе спортсменов: участники турнира обязательно должны играть в белом!
