Не так давно модный дом Dolce & Gabbana оказался в центре очередного скандала. Мы решили вспомнить историю бренда, которая началась в Милане. Доменико Дольче и Стефано Габбана познакомились в начале 80-х, когда Доменико приняли на работу в ателье, принадлежащее Стефано. В конце 1982 года они объединили усилия, чтобы открыть собственную студию. Первый показ Dolce & Gabbana состоялся в октябре 1985 года совместно с показами других начинающих модельеров в самом конце Миланской недели моды.
С шести лет Доменико помогал в мастерской отцу. Он так виртуозно владел мастерством кройки и шитья, что мог почти не глядя пришить рукава к пиджаку. Для развлечения мальчик моделировал из лоскутков миниатюрные платьица и костюмчики.
Семья Стефано Габбана никогда не была стеснена в средствах, поэтому подросток рос модником. В начале каждого сезона Стефано покупал себе самую актуальную вещь.

Not so long ago, the fashion house Dolce & Gabbana was in the center of another scandal. We decided to recall the history of the brand, which began in Milan. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana met in the early 80s, when Domenico was hired by Stefano. At the end of 1982, they joined forces to open their own studio. The first Dolce & Gabbana show took place in October 1985, together with the shows of other novice fashion designers at the very end of Milan Fashion Week.
