Riverdance Summer School. День первый.
Скептики скажут, что все слишком пафосно. Но для меня здесь нереальная атмосфера: мы занимаемся на территории Trinity College в Дублине! Именно в Дублине более 20 лет назад зародилось это шоу. Для многих оно открыло невероятный мир ирландских танцев и ирландской культуры. Сегодня на репетиции я почувствовала себя частью истории, чего-то грандиозного - будто перенеслась на 20 лет назад, когда первый состав учил все эти степы, разводки и т.д., чтобы произвести настоящий фурор.
Padraic Moyles, директор, большая очаровашка: "Нам все равно сколько раз вы чемпион мира. Нам нужны Танцоры (Performers)".
Очень круто встретить старых знакомых: Амели из Швейцарии, с которой подружились на фещах, Кира Калланан Райан, которая теперь уже участник Риверданс шоу.
Вообще на эту сессию приехали танцоры со всех уголков Земли: США, Австралия, Япония, Россия, Украина, Швейцария, Чехия, Англия, Шотландия, Бельгия, ну и Ирландия конечно же.
Все очень рады друг с другом познакомиться. Самый часто задаваемый вопрос вокруг: "where are you from?" (селфи с новыми подружками - Таней из Одессы и Джессикой из Лондона, с другими еще завтра нафоткаемся)
Сегодня учили хореографию из 2х номеров (щас допишу пост, и пойду повторять). Все просто, знакомо, но голова все равно распухла от информации:) Джеймс нас поддерживает и всячески помогает. Padraic вечером вообще похвалил и сказал, что мы идем по программе, и он впечатлен нашим усердием:)
Еще я теперь щеголяю в майке Riverdance и кофте Riverdance:)
Мне все равно, что будет дальше - сегодня все очень круто и меня переполняют эмоции!

Riverdance Summer School. The first day.
Skeptics will say that everything is too pathetic. But for me there is an unreal atmosphere: we are studying at the Trinity College in Dublin! It was in Dublin more than 20 years ago that this show was born. For many, it has opened up the incredible world of Irish dance and Irish culture. Today at the rehearsal, I felt like part of the story, something grandiose - as if I had been transported to 20 years ago, when the first team taught all these steps, wiring, etc., to make a real sensation.
Padraic Moyles, director, big charm: "We don’t care how many times you are a world champion. We need Performers."
It’s very cool to meet old friends: Amelie from Switzerland, with whom we made friends on feschi, Kira Callanan Ryan, who is now a participant in the Riverdance show.
In general, dancers from all over the world came to this session: USA, Australia, Japan, Russia, Ukraine, Switzerland, Czech Republic, England, Scotland, Belgium, and of course Ireland.
Everyone is very happy to meet each other. The most frequently asked question around: "where are you from?" (selfies with new girlfriends - Tanya from Odessa and Jessica from London, we’ll mess with others tomorrow)
Today we taught choreography from 2 numbers (right now I’ll add a post, and I’ll go to repeat). Everything is simple, familiar, but the head is still swollen with information :) James supports us and helps us in every way. Padraic generally praised in the evening and said that we were following the program, and he was impressed with our zeal :)
I also now flaunt in a Riverdance tank top and a Riverdance sweater :)
I don’t care what happens next - today everything is very cool and my emotions overwhelm me!
