Первый день, назовем его "разогревочным", оказался достаточно неплох для команды RedFox Adventure Team. Прямо со старта, несмотря на 7-ми минутную задержку, ребята обошли 13 команд и на протяжении первых 6 часов стали удерживать лидерство, таким образом, задавая темп для остальных. Такая игра достаточно опасна и может привести к нехватке сил на большой дистанции, однако, я надеюсь, что RedFox Adventure Team имеет достаточно опыта для такого маневра. Тем не менее на протяжении всего дня они находятся в боевой тройке, и вперед вышла лишь французская команда 400Team Naturex, которая к четвертому контрольному пункту CP4 пришла с преимуществом в 1,5 часа. Команда Blizzard спокойно двигается примерно 16-й, вероятно понимая, что вся основная борьба будет разворачиваться, начиная с третьего дня.
Итого, 19 часов с момента старта, лидерами пройдена большая часть пешеходного этапа. Впереди восхождение на наивысшую точку всей дистанции - вершину Piton des Neiges 3071 м. Это будет тяжело еще и из-за возможного развития горной болезни. Затем участников ждет долгий спуск (около 20 км) в первую транзитную зону TA-1. Думаю, лидеры достигнут транзитки к середине следующего дня.

The first day, let's call it “warm-up,” turned out to be pretty good for the RedFox Adventure Team. Right from the start, despite a 7-minute delay, the guys went around 13 teams and for the first 6 hours began to maintain leadership, thus setting the pace for the rest. Such a game is quite dangerous and can lead to a lack of strength over a long distance, however, I hope that the RedFox Adventure Team has enough experience for such a maneuver. Nevertheless, all day they are in the troika, and only the French team 400Team Naturex came forward, which came to the fourth CP4 checkpoint with an advantage of 1.5 hours. The Blizzard team is moving quietly around the 16th, probably realizing that all the main struggle will unfold, starting from the third day.
Total, 19 hours from the start, the leaders covered most of the pedestrian stage. Ahead is the ascent to the highest point of the entire distance - the peak of Piton des Neiges 3071 m. It will be difficult also due to the possible development of mountain sickness. Then the participants will have a long descent (about 20 km) to the first transit zone TA-1. I think the leaders will reach transit by the middle of the next day.
