от Хань Сян-Цзы
Единственное, что человек делает всегда искренне, так это - заблуждается. Если одно заблуждение свойственно всему обществу и при этом помогает ему жить, то оно становится верой. А если вера теряет искренность, то это уже не заблуждение и соответственно не вера, а лицемерие и обман, которые могут только разлагать общество.
Если ты задаёшь вопрос, значит, ты уже знаешь половину ответа.
Не обращай внимания на то, как к тебе относятся люди - обращай внимание на то, как ты относишься к ним.
Помогая ленивым, людям ты помогаешь им сесть на свою шею.
Не прощая ошибку, ты совершаешь ошибку сам.
Прощая подлость, ты помогаешь совершить другую.
А глупость вообще не требует прощения. Она, как ветер, не зависит ни от чего. Её надо принимать такую, как есть, и, защищаясь от её вреда, искать в ней пользу.
Хочешь навести порядок во всём мире, сначала приберись у себя дома.
Доброта беззащитна, и поэтому существует.
Если быть как все, то зачем тогда быть?
(Хочешь быть как все - будешь никем.)
Если ты думаешь, как все, ты уже ошибаешься. Все думают по-разному.
Если ты думаешь за всех, ты опять ошибаешься. У каждого свои заботы.
Думай по-своему и за себя, но помни - не думая о других, ты прежде всего не думаешь о себе.
Все люди больше всего хотят узнать, а чего они на самом деле хотят.
Большинство дурных поступков человек совершает не потому, что они ему нравятся, или приносят выгоду, а потому что ему кажется, что от него их ждут.
Добросовестность вознаграждается, но деньги здесь не причём.
Цветок красив, пока не тронут.
Человек может думать обо всём, но делать должен то, в чём он уверен.
Как отличить сильного человека от слабого? Если недоволен жизнью сильный человек, то он предъявляет претензии к себе, а если слабый, то к людям.
Легко служить идеям и богам, они намного проще, чем живые люди.
Всё острое со временем теряет остроту, и только тупость становится ещё тупее.
Мудрость правителя следует оценивать не по тем великим свершениям, которыми ему довелось руководить, а по тем губительным ошибкам, которых ему удалось не допустить.
Мудрый не тот, кто много размышляет о великом, а тот, кто мало думает о мелочах.
И большой человек, и маленький человек могут одновременно идти к одной цели, но маленький человек - чтобы на ней остановиться, а большой - чтобы от неё идти дальше.
Пока ты говоришь совсем не то, что думаешь, слушаешь совсем не то, во что веришь, и делаешь совсем не то, к чему расположен - то всё это время и живёшь совсем не ты.
Мудреца спросили:
- Говорят, что ты всё знаешь, а скажи-ка нам - что такое обида?
Мудрец поднёс к губам фарфоровую чашечку, не торопясь допил из неё саке и ответил:
- Вот, на дне чашечки осталось несколько капель саке. Есть ли у меня от этого обида? Если я больше не хочу, то мне всё равно. А если мне не хватило, то я найду ещё саке, налью его в ту же чашечку, и оставшиеся капли растворятся в нём. А потом я их выпью. Вот так и обида, человек сам решает, бесконечно мучить себя своей обидой, или сделать так, чтобы она растворилась с пользой.
Смешон орущий в ярости, но страшен молчащий в обиде.
Чтобы дойти до новой истины, нужно отойти от старой лжи.
Всё, что важно, не бывает срочно. Всё, что срочно - только суета.
Хвастовство - признак неуверенности. Грубость - признак бессилия. Надежда на пользу от их проявления - признак глупости.
Часто хвастовством называют обыкновенную правду, а скромностью - молчаливую ложь.
Отсутствие богатства - это ещё не бедность. Бедность - это жажда богатства.
Нельзя дождаться того, что тебя ждёт. К этому надо идти.
Те, кто не помнят поражений, не узнают побед.
Если ты думаешь, что справедливость победила, попробуй убедить в этом побеждённых.
Для того, чтобы народ оценил великие государственные дела, надо чтобы ему от них досталось хотя бы малое.
Семья - не единственное место, где надо быть порядочным, но первое.
Чтобы делать зло, необязательно быть злым. Чтобы делать добро - обязательно.
Не огорчайся, когда тебя перестали замечать друзья. Огорчайся, когда перестали замечать враги.
Глупо быть лидером гонк

Forgiving meanness, you help commit another.

Kindness is defenseless, and therefore exists.

How to distinguish a strong person from a weak person? If a strong person is dissatisfied with life, then he makes claims against himself, and if he is weak, then towards people.
It is easy to serve ideas and gods, they are much simpler than living people.
Everything acute loses its sharpness over time, and only dullness becomes even dumber.
The wisdom of the ruler should not be judged by the great accomplishments that he managed to lead, but by those destructive mistakes that he managed to prevent.
A wise one is not one who thinks a lot about the great, but one who thinks little about the little things.
Both a large person and a small person can simultaneously go towards one goal, but a small person - to stay on it, and a big person - to move on from it.
While you are not saying what you think at all, you are not listening at all to what you believe in, and you are doing not at all what you are situated for, then all this time you are not living at all.
The sage was asked:
- They say that you know everything, but tell us - what is insult?
The sage brought a porcelain cup to his lips, slowly drank sake from it and answered:
- Here, at the bottom of the cup there are a few drops of sake. Do I have any offense from this? If I don’t want anymore, then I don’t care. And if I didn’t have enough, then I will find more sake, pour it into the same cup, and the remaining drops will dissolve in it. And then I'll drink them. That's the insult, a person decides to endlessly torment himself with his insult, or to make it dissolve with advantage.
Ridiculous screaming in rage, but terrible silent in insult.
To get to the new truth, you need to move away from the old lie.
All that matters is not urgent. All that is urgent is just vanity.
Boasting is a sign of uncertainty. Rudeness is a sign of powerlessness. Hope to benefit from their manifestation is a sign of stupidity.
Common truth is often called boasting, and modesty is a silent lie.
Lack of wealth is not poverty. Poverty is a thirst for wealth.
You can’t wait for what awaits you. We have to go to this.
Those who do not remember defeats will not recognize victories.
If you think that justice has won, try to convince the defeated of this.
