Мертвое море находитсяв регионе Ейн Бокек. Мертвое море - большоеи очень соленое.
Но соленое – не в привычном понимании пищевой соли НатрийХлор – а солями более 20 минералов.
Причем минералов этих 30% в воде.Конечно, разница будет понятна толькохимикам – для всех остальных это вода невыносимая на вкус (проверено), наощупь- как масло.
Море Мертвое теплее чем воздух – поэтому купатьсяв нем приятно, но не более 10 минут- потом надо выходить. Кристаллы соли остры как ножи - ходить по дну нужно очень осторожно.
Если вы когда-нибудь наблюдали за тем, как переворачиваетсясо спины на живот какое-нибудь существу – жучок там или черепашка – то ровнотак же выглядят люди, которые пытаются перевернуться в море- полная невесомость. Любой орган – который пытаешьсяпогрузить – тут же всплывает.
Раньше в Мертвое море впадала рекаИордан – там по преданию было крещение ИисусаХриста, оттуда черпали водудля храмов Иерусалима.Теперь воду брать не откуда. Вся вода идет на полив теплиц для сельскогохозяйства (ни одно дерево в Израиле не выросло самостоятельно – все посаженоруками людей). Это не мешает Израилю находиться в десятке экспортеров овощей и фруктов в мире - все потому то они изобрели уникальные теплицы, позволяющие собирать 3 урожая в год помидорчиков черри и белого картофеля.
На море стоит соляной комбинат- производят там удобрения , соль пищевуюберут из красного моря. Комбинат стал бы отличной декорацией для постаппокалиптического фильма.
В отеле персонал вышколен – такое чувство, что при приеме наработу все проглатывают шпалу и ходят не сгибаясь, даже когда улыбаются - по лицам понятно, что внутри шпала.
На самом море нет пляжей у Израиля – все пляжи находятсявдоль специальной отгороженной зоны – соляных бассейнов – где глубина не более5 метров, а само море – глубиной около 100 метров и при этом каждый год моревысыхает на 2 мм.
Если вы решите поехать на Мертвое Море – то ехать туданужно, когда вам будет чуть за 70 лет или настолько надоедят люди, чтозахочется уединения и «овощного отдыха» –это оазис уникальной тишины и векового спокойствия. Всем остальным – рекомендуюпроездом – так как посмотреть действительно стоит.

Previously, the Jordan River flowed into the Dead Sea - according to legend, there was the baptism of Jesus Christ, from there they scooped water for the temples of Jerusalem. Now there is no where to take water from. All water goes to irrigate greenhouses for agriculture (not a single tree in Israel has grown independently - all planted by the hands of people). This does not prevent Israel from being in the top ten exporters of fruits and vegetables in the world - all because they invented unique greenhouses, which make it possible to collect 3 harvests per year of cherry tomatoes and white potatoes.
At the sea there is a salt plant - they produce fertilizers there, food salt is taken from the Red Sea. The combine would be a great backdrop for a post-apocalyptic film.
At the hotel, the staff is well-trained - it feels like everyone swallows a sleeper at reception and walks without bending even when they smile - it’s clear from the faces that there is a sleeper inside.
Israel has no beaches on the sea itself - all the beaches are located along a special fenced off zone - salt pools - where the depth is no more than 5 meters and the sea itself is about 100 meters deep and at the same time the sea rises by 2 mm every year.
