В жизни каждого человека наступает кульминационный момент, когда он должен решить самый важный для себя вопрос, от которого зависит не только его дальнейшая судьба, но и будущее его близких, его народа, его государства.
В роковой для казачьего народа 1917 год этот вопрос стоял перед каждым казаком. Но ответить на него смогли далеко не все и это определило дальнейшую судьбу казачьей России.
Этот вопрос стоит перед чудом избежавшим полного физического уничтожения казачьим народом и сегодня.
Вопрос этот – КТО МЫ?
Вольный, никогда не признававший рабства народ, история борьбы за свободу которого уходит в седую глубину веков? Или потомки безродного племени беглых холопов и не помнящих родства манкуртов – «красных конников» братьев Кашириных, Семки Буденного и других «героев» братоубийственной гражданской войны?
КТО МЫ? Часть гражданского общества, подвергнутый страшному геноциду и до сих пор не реабилитированный народ? Или крепостные крестьяне новых аракчеевских военных поселений, обязанные нести государственную военную и полицейскую службу?
КТО МЫ? Потомки созданного Господом Богом по своему образу и подобию, прошедшего адские муки и достойного лучшей доли казачьего народа? Или «новые цыгане» из много-краснознаменных ансамблей песни и пляски, за звонкую монету ублажающие палачей и гонителей своих легендарных предков?
На этот вопрос каждый, кто называет себя казаком, даст свой ответ. Но один вариант ответа будет общим для всех: МЫ – ПОСЛЕДНИЕ КАЗАКИ!
После нас казачьего народа может уже просто не быть! Останется легенда о Казачьем Присуде и «казачество» - государственная «контора» по вербовке наемников для военной и полицейской службы, прикрытая ширмой «казачьей культуры» в рамках государственно-крепостных фольклорных ансамблей, воспевающих счастливую жизнь «нео-казаков» в условиях современной российской «демократии».
И произойдет это очень скоро, если МЫ - ПОСЛЕДНИЕ КАЗАКИ, не поймем одной истины, что казачий народ не имеет будущего без своего национально-территориального образования в составе Российской Федерации и не объединимся вокруг национальной идеи сохранения казачьего генофонда.
Возрождение казачьего народа не нужно ни государству, ни Церкви.
Только МЫ – ПОСЛЕДНИЕ КАЗАКИ, отбросив шелуху бесконечных казачьих праздников и парадов, маскарада «потешных» казачьих полков, демагогию о нерушимом братстве всех народов «Матушки-России» и необходимости «государевой службы» казачьего народа – как единственного его предназначения, пока еще можем заставить своих атаманов вспомнить данную казакам клятву: «Я - ваш отец! Вы – мои дети!» и после 15 лет деклараций о реабилитации и возрождении репрессированного казачьего народа сделать, наконец, первый и необходимый шаг к восстановлению незаконно уничтоженной национально-территориальной казачьей автономии.
Этот шаг – приобретение статуса правосубъектности в части национально-территориального самоопределения, может быть решен только через создание на Всероссийском Круге (Съезде) казачьего народа его представительного органа, легитимность которого может быть обеспечена только региональными делегатами от национальных казачьих организаций. Такими организациями в соответствии с действующим законодательством сегодня являются только казачьи национально-культурные автономии, которые НАМ – ПОСЛЕДНИМ КАЗАКАМ, и предстоит создавать.
Другого пути для сохранения казачьего народа просто нет!
Наступил МОМЕНТ ИСТИНЫ, когда каждый казак снова должен решить для себя вопрос: КТО ОН? Достойный своих предков представитель казачьего народа или просто «гражданин Российской Федерации (независимо от этнической принадлежности), в установленном порядке принявший на себя обязательства по несению государственной и иной службы»?

In the fateful for the Cossack people of 1917, this question stood before every Cossack. But far from everyone could answer it, and this determined the fate of Cossack Russia.
This question confronts the miracle who escaped complete physical destruction by the Cossack people today.
This question is WHO WE ARE?
A free people who never recognized slavery, whose history of the struggle for freedom goes into the hoary depths of centuries? Or the descendants of a rootless tribe of runaway slaves and not remembering the kinship of mankurts - the “red horsemen” of the Kashirin brothers, Semka Budyonny and other “heroes” of the fratricidal civil war?
WHO ARE WE? Part of civil society subjected to terrible genocide and still not rehabilitated people? Or serfs of the new Arakcheev military settlements, obliged to carry out state military and police service?
WHO ARE WE? The descendants of the Lord God created in his own image and likeness, past hellish torment and worthy of a better share of the Cossack people? Or the "new gypsies" from the many-red-haired ensembles of song and dance, for loud coin appeasing the executioners and persecutors of their legendary ancestors?
Everyone who calls himself a Cossack will give his answer to this question. But one answer will be common to all: WE ARE THE LAST COSSACKS!
After us, the Cossack people may simply no longer exist! There will remain the legend of the Cossack Prison and the “Cossacks” - the state “office” for recruiting mercenaries for military and police service, covered by a screen of “Cossack culture” within the framework of the state serf folklore ensembles, glorifying the happy life of “neo-Cossacks” in the context of modern Russian “ democracy. ”
And this will happen very soon if WE ARE THE LAST COSSACKS, we don’t understand one truth that the Cossack people have no future without their national-territorial formation in the Russian Federation and do not unite around the national idea of preserving the Cossack gene pool.
The revival of the Cossack people is not necessary for either the state or the Church.
Only WE - THE LAST COSSACKS, having discarded the husks of the endless Cossack holidays and parades, the masquerade of the "funny" Cossack regiments, the demagogy about the indestructible brotherhood of all the peoples of "Mother Russia" and the need for "sovereign service" of the Cossack people - as its only purpose, we can still force their atamans to remember the oath given to the Cossacks: “I am your father! You are my children! ”And after 15 years of declarations on the rehabilitation and revival of the repressed Cossack people, finally, take the first and necessary step to restore the illegally destroyed national-territorial Cossack autonomy.
This step - the acquisition of the status of legal personality in terms of national-territorial self-determination, can only be resolved through the creation on the All-Russian Circle (Congress) of the Cossack people of its representative body, the legitimacy of which can be ensured only by regional delegates from national Cossack organizations. In accordance with the current legislation, such organizations today are only Cossack national-cultural autonomies, which WE - THE LAST COSSACKS, have yet to create.
There is simply no other way to save the Cossack people!
The Moment of TRUTH came when every Cossack must again decide for himself the question: WHO IS IT? A representative of the Cossack people worthy of their ancestors, or simply “a citizen of the Russian Federation (regardless of ethnicity), who, in the prescribed manner, has assumed obligations to perform public and other services”?
