Мне тут на рабочую почту пришло странное письмо - про гимн РФ. По этому случаю я перечитала текст этого самого гимна. А заодно и текст гимна США - для сравнения.
Так вот, - "land of the free" и "home of the brave" - это, товарищи металлисты, вполне конкретное место!
"Oh, say! does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?" :)
А вот и финал.
"Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust":
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave".
Так вот, - "land of the free" и "home of the brave" - это, товарищи металлисты, вполне конкретное место!
