УРА! Полтора года работы - и вот, вышла моя новая книга (кстати, уже пятая по счёту)!
Приятно поделиться этой радостной вестью с друзьями, единомышленниками и просто хорошими и порядочными людьми (а недруги и завистники "порадуются" сами).
Называется книга так:
"Новороссия. Формирование национальных идентичностей (XVIII - XX вв.)". М., Кучково Поле, 2018. 512 с.
В книге есть цветная вклейка с 6 уникальными картами и 88 иллюстрациями.
"Новороссия была. Новороссия существовала, сияя неповторимыми цветами в историко-культурном многоцветье России. И вдруг в XX веке всё исчезло. Осталась земля, остались люди – а Новороссии как региона со своим историческим и национально-культурным лицом вроде как и не стало.
Но ничто в мире не проходит бесследно. Не канула в лету и Новороссия: раз возродившись, она уже не исчезнет.
Эта книга – не о современных событиях. Она – об их первопричинах. О том, что такое Новороссия, и почему она – не чья-то выдумка, а историческая реальность. В книге исследуются проблемы национально-культурного развития и формирования национальной идентичности населения Новороссии, языковой вопрос и связанные с этим особенности исторической судьбы региона и политических ориентаций его жителей в XVIII–XX веках".
В издательстве обещали, что сегодня книгу начнут развозить по книжным магазинам.
Как всегда, есть и "ложка дёгтя": тираж всего 500 экземпляров. Авторских совсем немного, так что дарить книгу (если такие просьбы появятся) автор, к сожалению (надеюсь, пока), не может, чтобы не обидеть тех, кому не хватит. Но издатель заверил, что если книга будет хорошо продаваться, то будет и дополнительный тираж. Думаю, пояснения не нужны (где вы, советские времена с их многотысячными тиражами).

It’s nice to share this good news with friends, like-minded people and just good and decent people (and enemies and envious people will “rejoice” themselves).
The book is called like this:
"New Russia. The formation of national identities (XVIII - XX centuries.)." M., Kuchkovo Field, 2018.512 s.
The book has a color sticker with 6 unique cards and 88 illustrations.
"New Russia was. New Russia existed, shining with unique colors in the historical and cultural diversity of Russia. And suddenly in the 20th century everything disappeared. There was land, people remained - and Novorossia as a region with its historical and national-cultural face seems to have disappeared.
But nothing in the world passes without a trace. New Russia has not sunk into oblivion either: once revived, it will not disappear.
This book is not about contemporary events. She is about their root causes. About what Novorossia is and why it is not someone’s invention, but historical reality. The book explores the problems of national-cultural development and the formation of the national identity of the population of New Russia, the language issue and the related features of the historical fate of the region and the political orientations of its inhabitants in the 18th – 20th centuries. "
The publishing house promised that today the book will begin to be delivered to bookstores.
As always, there is a "fly in the ointment": the circulation is only 500 copies. There are very few copyright ones, so the author, unfortunately (I hope so far) cannot give the book (if such requests appear), so as not to offend those who are not enough. But the publisher assured that if the book sells well, there will be an additional circulation. I think no explanation is needed (where are you, the Soviet era with their many thousand copies).
