{Белый храм. Разрушен}
Полтора года назад я был в очень необычном и запоминающемся меcте — Белый Храм на севере Таиланда. Храм построен художником и в нём вместо сцен из жизни Будды изображены сцены из фильмов про Чужих, Хищника, Супермена, Звёздных Войн. Да и сам храм оформлен как видите очень необычно.
При этом — это действующий буддистский храм. В котором проходят службы.
Увы, уже... проходили.
Это чудо, сотворённое руками тайского художника, разрушено землетрясением в Чианг Рае :(
Храм получил серьёзные повреждения, трещины, часть свода обвалилась, доступ в храм закрыт на неопределённый срок.
Автору храма 60 лет и он говорит:
"The game is over for the White Temple. Now, I am almost 60 years old and am not sure whether I can rebuild it. "I've come to terms with it. I have done my best and will let it be,''
В общем, мы стали свидетелями разрушения одного из настоящих произведений современного искусства.
