Как скучно я живу (из легенды):
В один из подъездов этого дома-колодца (с адресами сразу по 3 улицам) в 1928 году вошла бригада ОГПУ. Задачей их было арестовать по "делу спецов" начальника Управления связи Наркомата путей сообщения Карла Чеховского с сыном.
Сына сразу не нашли. Пришлось обыскивать дом и спуститься в подвал, где внезапно обнаружилась химическая лаборатория, библиотека оккультной литературы и документы тайной организации ордена розенкрейцеров "Эмеш редививус". Главой ордена были прокуратор Вадим Карлович Чеховский - ученый, занимавшийся различными влияниями на мозг человека, и командор Тегер - знаток тайных обществ. Целью лабораторных опытов ордена была, в частности, передача мыслей на расстояние.

In 1928, a brigade of the OGPU entered the one of the entrances of this house-well (with addresses at once on 3 streets). Their task was to arrest the head of the Communications Directorate of the People's Commissariat of Communications Karl Chekhovsky with his son in the "case of specialists".
The son was not immediately found. I had to search the house and go down to the basement, where the chemical laboratory, the library of occult literature and the documents of the secret organization of the Rosicrucian Order “Emesh Redivivus” were suddenly discovered. The head of the order was the procurator Vadim Karlovich Chekhovsky - a scientist who dealt with various influences on the human brain, and Commander Teger - a connoisseur of secret societies. The purpose of the laboratory experiments of the order was, in particular, the transfer of thoughts at a distance.
