Однажды шахтеру Степану приснилось, что к нему на объекте подошел бригадир и сказал:
"Степан, иди домой, Вселенная — лишь голографическая проекция в квантово спутанном океане. Бытие — флуктуация на субатомном уровне. Твой разум никогда не позволит тебе постичь трансцендентальную природу мироздания, а наша перманентная тщетная суета лишь умножает энтропию и приближает тепловую смерть Вселенной. Экспоненциально инфлирующий хаос небытия никому не принесет катарсиса, потому что ни жизнь, ни смерть не имеют значения, человек — лишь причудливая игра ради игры химических элементов и аминокислот, построенных из них, а разум твой — короткий всплеск в бесконечно текущей хтонической реке подземного царства Аида. Лучше сходи купи портвейну и забудь про сумрак беспросветного существования..."
Степан проснулся и посмотрел на часы — до подъема оставалось еще три часа. Из всего, сказанного бригадиром, он понял лишь, что на работу идти не надо.
