Я отвечаю концом света изнутри: внезапно человечество обнаруживает, что всё состоит-таки из неделимых демокритовских атомов.
[id1|Павел] согласен с демокритовскими атомами, но постулирует эволюцию законов вселенной, а не наших взглядов о ней. Классическая механика вполне точно описывала мир — до поры. Если бы ученый вернулся в те времена на машине времени, он там и застрял бы, потому что относительность еще не сложилась. И Бруно они сожгли за дело.
Забавно наблюдать, добавляю я, как земля натягивалась на шар, по мере необходимости. Что до концов света, то мне интересна развязка, при которой:
Нас ведь спасает то, что этой вселенной уже многие миллиарды лет. И что она просуществует еще не пойми сколько. На этом фоне наши жизни кажутся настолько незначительными, что это и пугает и успокаивает.
Но если, после миллиардов лет, вселенной осталось всего недели две? А потом всё. Не знаю точно, как, но — всё. И главное, что весь этот путь и трансформации материи оказались пройдены затем только, чтобы вселенная могла закончиться именно в четверг.
