Хула против Святого Духа есть сознательное, упорное и нераскаянное противление очевидной истине, о которой человек внутри себя знает, что это истина.
Пример - убийство Христа, совершенное руководителями еврейского народа. Его первосвященниками (то есть высшими церковными иерархами, по-нашему: митрополитами и патриархом), фарисеями (то есть монахами), книжниками (то есть богословами). Это были образованные и дальновидные люди своего времени, из которых состоял высший орган власти - синедрион. Когда синедрион принял решение убить Христа? После воскрешения Им четверодневного Лазаря. То есть уже после совершенно явного, очевидного чуда, сокрушающего всякое сомнение и даже саму мысль о нем. Никогда в истории такого не было! Труп на жаре пролежал четыре дня, полуразложившийся, смердящий. И воскрес. Каков же вердикт синедриона? Вот каков: "убить и Лазаря". Сознательное, упорное противление Истине, ненависть к Ней, нежелание Ее существования до такой степени, что убивают и самое свидетельство о Ней. Хула на Святаго Духа.
Еще пример. Одно дело - искреннее стремление к святой истине. Старание насколько возможно, насколько действительно получается, осуществить в своей жизни правду, истину, совесть, а не хуление, не противление Духу Святому, не противление той истине и правде, которая открывается в человеческой душе. Другое дело - лукавое рассуждение «сейчас поживем, а потом покаемся». Вот в своем лукавстве и будут уловлены лукавые потому, что это уже есть хула на Духа Святого. Святитель Феофан Затворник говорит: «Бог нелицемерен и будет судить всякого по тому закону, который он сознавал для себя обязательным». В глубине себя мы ведь знаем, что такое хорошо, а что такое плохо. Отвержение от себя этого знания, противление ему, отрицание в угоду хотения страстей и похотей, самовластия, славолюбия, сребролюбия (в широком смысле) - есть хула на Святаго Духа.

All sin and blasphemy will be forgiven to men, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven to men;
if anyone speaks a word on the Son of Man, he will be forgiven him;
if anyone speaks of the Holy Spirit, he will not be forgiven either in this century or in the future.

The blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is a conscious, stubborn and unrepentant opposition to the obvious truth, about which the person inside himself knows that this is the truth.
An example is the assassination of Christ by the leaders of the Jewish people. His high priests (that is, the highest church hierarchs, in our opinion: the metropolitans and the patriarch), the Pharisees (i.e. monks), scribes (i.e. theologians). These were educated and far-sighted people of their time, of which the supreme authority - the Sanhedrin consisted. When did the Sanhedrin decide to kill Christ? After His resurrection of the four-day Lazarus. That is, after a completely clear, obvious miracle, crushing all doubt and even the very thought of him. This has never happened in history! The corpse in the heat lay for four days, decaying, stinking. And risen. What is the verdict of the Sanhedrin? Here's what: "kill Lazarus too." Conscious, stubborn opposition to Truth, hatred of Her, unwillingness of Her existence to such an extent that the very testimony of Her is killed. Hula on the Holy Spirit.
Another example. One thing is a sincere desire for holy truth. Trying as much as possible, as far as it really turns out, to realize truth, truth, conscience in your life, and not blasphemy, not opposition to the Holy Spirit, not opposition to that truth and truth that is revealed in the human soul. Another thing is the crafty argument “now we will live, and then repent.” It is in their craftiness that the evil ones will be caught, because this is already a blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Saint Theophan the Recluse says: “God is not hypocritical and will judge everyone according to the law, which he considered obligatory for himself.” In the depths of ourselves, we know what is good and what is bad. The rejection of this knowledge from oneself, opposition to it, denial for the sake of wanting passions and lusts, autocracy, popularity, love of money (in the broad sense) - is a blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
