«Да будет воля Твоя и на земле, как на небе» (Лк. 11, 2)
Лучшая доля для человека на земле – творить волю Божию. Не иногда, поверхностно, часто неохотно, но так, как она творится на небе.
Три первых прошения молитвы Господней относятся прямо к Отцу: имя Твое, Царствие Твое, воля Твоя. Христос учит человека ставить Бога на первое место, которое Ему и принадлежит. Сперва небесное – потом земное, сперва духовное – потом телесное, сперва Божие – потом человеческое. Христос отрывает взоры людские, прикованные к окружающему, и устремляет их на Отца и на то, что Его касается.
У нас не так: свое стоит на главном месте. Свои заботы, нужды, дела поглощают все, и мы прибегаем с ними к Богу, как единственному выходу из тяжелого положения. Он же Сам, может быть, не имеет в нашей жизни никакого места. Оттого неправильность, греховность, бесцельность всесуществования. Христос признает только один порядок вещей и возвещает его в этой чудной молитве: «в начале Бог».
Когда человек тоже воспримет душой эту истину, тогда только для него наступит настоящая христианская жизнь. Ища прежде всего воли Божией и творя ее по мере света, ему данного, он входит в область Царствия Божия и начинает познавать и прославлять имя Того, от Которого исходит всякая благодать и исполнение всякой нужды. Является тогда равновесие в его душе, и тогда воля Божия не просто принимается с печальной покорностью, но творится с полной энергией и доверием преданной любви.
В одной школе спросили у детей: «Как творится воля Божия на небе?» Множество посыпалось ответов: «охотно», «сейчас», «радостно»... Последний голосок принадлежал очень маленькой девочке, которая благоговейно сказала: «Не спрашивая – почему!» Да, с доверием, которое не вопрошает, но исполняет, творят волю Божию те, которые сознательно произносят это третье прошение и согласуют с ним свою жизнь.
«Хлеб наш насущный подавай нам на каждый день» (Лк. 11, 3)
Далее в молитве Господней следуют три прошения, касающиеся человека и его нужд. Как заботится Отец о пропитании Своих детей! Он «ангельским хлебом» питал Свой народ, посылал этот хлеб прямо с неба каждый день. Он из камня извлекал для них воду в пустыне. Христос кормил голодных, исцелял больных, сострадал нуждам не только души, но и тела; Он учит нас и в этом прошении, куда обращаться прежде всего за помощью.
Люди обращаются к людям за помощью и огорчаются, получая отказы, а надо обращаться прямо, просто, к Подателю всех благ.
Одна очень бедная женщина, которую спросили, куда она обращается за помощью, ответила: «К Богу и к людям, только через Него. Сердца в Его власти, и Он их склоняет к жалости, когда хочет».
Чем дальше мы подвигаемся в нашей духовной жизни, тем более учимся мы этой полной зависимости от воли Бога Отца, полагаясь на Него во всем, каждую минуту нашей жизни, пока не поймем великую истину этих слов: «Без Меня не можете делать ничего» (Ин. 15, 5). «Тело для Господа, и Господь для тела» (1 Кор. 6, 13). Когда же Господь отказывает в чем-нибудь, Он Сам восполняет все сторицею. Дети Его ни в чем не зависят от внешних обстоятельств, а зависят лишь от «всякого слова, исходящего из уст Божиих» (Втор. 8, 3).
Если и скуден бывает подчас земной хлеб, то Господь может приложить к нему такое благословение, вложить в сердце человека такую радость, терпение и благодарность, что скудный хлеб превратится в Его руках в богатую духовную пищу, от которой при лишениях для тела окрепнет душа.

“Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Luke 11: 2)
The best share for man on earth is to do the will of God. Not sometimes, superficially, often reluctantly, but the way it is happening in heaven.
The first three petitions of the Lord’s prayer relate directly to the Father: Your name, Your Kingdom, Your will. Christ teaches man to put God in the first place, which belongs to Him. First heavenly - then earthly, first spiritual - then bodily, first God - then human. Christ opens the gaze of men, chained to the environment, and directs them to the Father and to that which concerns him.
This is not so with us: ours is in the forefront. Everything absorbs our worries, needs, deeds, and we resort to God with them, as the only way out of a difficult situation. But He Himself, perhaps, has no place in our life. That’s why wrongness, sinfulness, the aimlessness of all existence. Christ recognizes only one order of things and proclaims it in this wonderful prayer: "God is in the beginning."
When a person also perceives this truth with his soul, then only a true Christian life will come for him. Seeking first of all the will of God and creating it according to the amount of light given to him, he enters the realm of the Kingdom of God and begins to know and glorify the name of Him, from whom all grace and fulfillment of all need come. Then there is a balance in his soul, and then the will of God is not only accepted with sad humility, but is created with full energy and confidence of faithful love.
At one school they asked the children: “How is God's will done in heaven?” Many answered: “willingly”, “now”, “joyfully” ... The last voice belonged to a very little girl who reverently said: “Without asking why ! ”Yes, with a trust that does not inquire but fulfills, do the will of God those who consciously pronounce this third petition and coordinate their life with it.
“Give us our daily bread for every day” (Luke 11: 3)
Further in the prayer of the Lord are three petitions concerning a person and his needs. How the Father takes care of the nourishment of His children! He “fed with angelic bread” His people, sent this bread directly from heaven every day. He extracted water from the stone for them in the desert. Christ fed the hungry, healed the sick, sympathized with the needs of not only the soul, but also the body; He also teaches us in this petition where to turn first of all for help.
People turn to people for help and are upset at receiving refusals, but we must turn directly, simply, to the Giver of all blessings.
One very poor woman who was asked where she was going for help replied: “To God and to people, only through Him. Hearts are in His power, and He inclines them to pity when He wants. ”
The further we move in our spiritual life, the more we learn this complete dependence on the will of God the Father, relying on Him in everything, every minute of our life, until we understand the great truth of these words: “Without Me, you cannot do anything” (John . 15, 5). “The body is for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body” (1 Cor. 6, 13). When the Lord refuses something, He Himself replenishes everything a hundredfold. His children are in no way dependent on external circumstances, but depend only on “every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Deuteronomy 8, 3).
If sometimes earthly bread is sometimes scarce, the Lord can attach such a blessing to it, put such joy, patience and gratitude in a person’s heart that in his hands the meager bread will turn into rich spiritual food, from which the soul will become stronger during deprivations for the body.
