"The men looked at His Excellency, who shrugged vaguely, a man who had been thoroughly daughtered."
Stay tuned,

Pratchett in the book "The People" has a gorgeous phrase:
"The soldiers looked at His Excellency. He shrugged vaguely, as his well-bred daughter should have."
And the original is even more beautiful.
"The men looked at His Excellency, who shrugged vaguely, a man who had been thoroughly daughtered."
And based on this quote, I’ll definitely write a post in the near future, and I’ll cover some issues of the metaphysics of time in it.
Stay tuned, as they say.
