В этот исторический день, когда Лео Ди Каприо ждал первый оскар за Выжившего и ночью его получил, мы с другом впервые готовили Фернанский плов. Это тот редкий случай, когда первый блин оказался удачным. Плов получился рассыпчатым, в меру жирным, а все ингредиенты очень удачно протомились и пропеклись. Продукты максимально простые: 300гр курдючного сала и 100гр масла, 1кг баранины с бедра, 1 кг риса, ради которого пришлось обойти не одно заведение и в нем были камни размером с зуб, 900гр моркови, 3 крупные луковицы, 2 головки чеснока, 2 перца чили, настоящая узбекская дикая зира и барбарис с тех же мест, соль столовая ложка. Весь процесс от замачивания риса до подачи на стол готового продукта занял 5 часов.
