В последние годы и в СМИ и в отдельных блогах интернета было много шума вокруг национальной принадлежности жителей мусульманской деревни, расположенной в Иудейских горах в Израиле. Большинство российских журналистов и политических деятелей называло жителей, некогда арабского, селения Абу Гош - потомками чеченцев переселивших в Святую Землю в начале 16 века. Согласно этой версии один из османских султанов, предположительно Селим Первый, поселил воинственных чеченцев в 8 км от Иерусалима для охраны дороги на Святой град и для сбора податей.
Согласно другому мнению, жители Абу Гоша - это черкесы, прибывшие в начале 19 столетия и позабывшие язык и традиции (большая часть израильских, иорданских и турецких черкесов сохраняют родной язык и обычаи).
Есть так же третье мнение, что жители деревни обыкновенные арабы-мусульмане, но поскольку во время арабо-израильских конфликтов они поддерживают евреев, то арабами им быть не очень хочется. То ли дело кавказцами! И престижно и безопасно!
Неделю тому назад я сам побывал в иудейских горах, в Абу Гоше. Захотел увидеть все воочию...
Ощущения были странные, с одной стороны все говорят на арабском,одеты как арабы , а с другой стороны - вайнахские башни при въезде в селение. Пусть маленький аналог, не Эгикал конечно, но все равно необычно...
"-Это что башни!" - говорит мне глава департамента культурных связей местного муниципалитета Иса Джабар. "- Скоро целая улица и мечеть будут названы в честь Ахмад-хаджи Кадырова!".
Любопытно, что у брата Исы - Салима главы муниципалитета, в кабинете портрет Рамзана Кадырова. Впрочем, связывают абугошевцы себя не только с чеченцами - со всеми вайнахскими народами. Тот же Иса Джабар рассказал о местной легенде, о происхождении названия села. Так легенда гласит, что Абу Гош, это искаженное название селения Ангушт. Т.е. возможно, что в формировании абугошевцев принимали участие и ингушские тейпы.
Легенд в Абу Гоше много , а доказательств мало. Язык утерян, культура тоже, однако жители упорно хотят видеть себя частью именно чеченского народа. Они говорят, что похожи на загадочных братьев с Кавказа, и что арабы отличают их от других арабских обществ. Интересно, что чеченцы, волею судеб оказавшиеся в Израиле, просят похоронить именно здесь, в Абу Гоше...
Кто знает, может жители деревни действительно потерянное колено чеченского народа?
