Вчера узнал, что белорусская компания Wargaming, разработчик World of Tanks и других аналогичных продуктов, купила права на вселенную Master of Orion и даже уже кое-что выпустила. Безусловно, играть в шедевр 90-х в в 2016 году немного странно, но мне Master of Orion 4, в целом, понравился. В очередной раз убеждаюсь, что в Беларуси слишком много талантливых людей, с чем я не раз сталкивался. Причем проявляется это всюду, в неочевидных вещах: от фильма «Брестская крепость» и вышеупомянутой World of Tanks, до топ-модели Виктории Сикрет Марины Линчук и самых вкусных молочных продуктов на рынке СНГ.
Хотя. у украинцев есть «Казаки», создатели которых в этом году тоже выпустят продолжение эпичной стратегии. «Казаки» — первая компьютерная игра пост-советского разработчика, которая была масштабно принята на Западе, а после такого успеха студии доверили делать проект по франшизе фильма «Александр» Оливера Стоуна.
При этом, у жителей Беларуси, с которыми я общался, обычно крайне заниженная самооценка и критическое восприятие своей страны в дискурсе СНГ. Так что выведу их главными качествами: скромность и умение работать.
