Ancient Greece is the coolest thing about this world. Suffice it to recall their mentality and some myths. Alexander of Macedon, although he did not know that the earth was round, was ready to drive the army to the end of the world during the campaign in India? But how did he intend to return home if there was no end? They say that Macedonian was poisoned by their own confidants, although at school this story is somehow silent.

And even more interesting is the story of the Strait of Gibraltar. Everyone knows where he is? This is a narrow strip of water that separates Spain from North Africa. The Greeks called the strait "Pillars of Hercules." Behind them the world ended. Plato placed at the border of Atlantis.

Regarding where the Hercules pillars came from, the Greeks had two theories. According to the first, once Hercules tried to pass through the mountains, but he did not want to bypass and simply formed a passage by force. On the other hand, the strait, on the contrary, was too large; therefore, various monsters penetrated the Mediterranean from the ancient Atlantic Ocean into the Mediterranean. Hercules narrowed the strait to secure the human abode (almost John Snow, lol),

In general, think about what people came up with these myths. And how epic they saw that world and themselves.
