Сегодня волшебное утро и одно из самых красивых в Петербурге. Солнце светит так, что хочется фотографировать абсолютно все. Дым от труб играет с лучами рассвета, а пар от воды и даже домов создает непередаваемую чисто Питерскую атмосферу. Я час каталась по центру наслаждаясь этой красотой и остро сожалея о том, что я без фотоаппарата. Казалось, что все люди должны выйти на улицы и бродить, всецело поглощенные таким восхитительным зрелищем, ведь как можно заниматься чем-то другим, когда такое чудо вокруг? Еще из чудес сегодняшнего утра была радуга. Радуга в морозный день. Я долго пыталась поверить в то, что это не мои личные галлюцинации. И были чайки над Невой, ковром, сплошным птичьим слоем летевшие куда-то на север. Не знаю зачем и куда, но так много их я видела впервые. По глупости и трусости своей я умудрилась проворонить одно отличное приключение и поняла мудрость фразы: лучше попытаться и ошибиться, чем не пытаться и потом сожалеть о не сделанном. Но по крайней мере сбывается поговорка про новый год, а значит год будет полон отменных приключений и это только начало!
Today is a magical morning and one of the most beautiful in St. Petersburg. The sun is shining so that I want to photograph absolutely everything. The smoke from the pipes plays with the rays of the dawn, and the steam from the water and even the houses creates an indescribable pure St. Petersburg atmosphere. I rode the center for an hour enjoying this beauty and deeply regretting that I was without a camera. It seemed that all people should take to the streets and wander, completely absorbed in such a delightful spectacle, because how can you do something else when such a miracle is around? Another of the wonders of this morning was a rainbow. Rainbow on a frosty day. For a long time I tried to believe that these are not my personal hallucinations. And there were seagulls over the Neva, a carpet flying in a continuous layer of birds somewhere north. I do not know why and where, but I saw so many of them for the first time. Due to my stupidity and cowardice, I managed to miss one great adventure and understood the wisdom of the phrase: it's better to try and make a mistake than not to try and then regret not done. But at least the saying about the new year comes true, which means the year will be full of excellent adventures and this is only the beginning!
