René Saman. Courante
René Saman (fl 1610 - died 1631) was a French composer and lutenist. He was a musician to Marie de Medici in 1615–16, in 1619 appointed lutenist to Louis XIII and also he taught boys of the royal chapel. Ten courantes by him were included in 17th-century collections of lute music.
