Суть заключается в том, что на данный момент он удерживается жителями Зинтана как заложник в большом торге племен, котороый начался сразу после свержения законной власти Ливии и попрания законов Джамахирии. Племена Зинтана включились в бандитские погромы страны по найму ПНС всего где-то месяц назад и они не получили от ПНС ничего и теперь всерьез раздумывают над предложением Сейфа присоединиться к набирающему силу Зеленому Сопротивлению, которое за последние 10 дней совершило невероятные прорывы и одержало серьезные победы.
Сейф Аль-Ислам признан лидером Зеленой Революции и ему безоговорочно добровольно подчинились не только гордые туареги, но и многие другие племена на время военной части Революции. Потому Зинтану есть о чем подумать.
У Сейфа лично шансов выжить не так много среди стервятников из Катара, Англии, Франции и США, жаждущих его смерти. (Имена вы все знаете, не хочется даже их упоминать.) Однако у Зеленого Сопротивления в руках вся южная Ливия, мощная армия, поддержка населения и полная решимость побеждать, которой нет у бандитов ПНС.
