У Springer’а есть инструмент - AuthorMapper, он отмечает авторов статей из их базы на карте мира. Ещё там можно легко посмотреть основные текущие и исторические тенденции в области, локации и продуктивность авторов и в каких журналах они чаще всего публикуются. Но самое в нём классное - реализация системы тегов. Ей и пользоваться легко, и результаты поиска она выдаёт адекватные запросу. Причём теги там, по сути, - все поля: названия институтов, имена авторов, столбцы годов на диаграмме, и так далее. На мой вкус, навигация и результаты приятнее, чем во многих больших базах. Правда, статистики, насколько я поняла, только абсолютные (и только из баз Springer’а) и есть ограничение на количество слов в облаке тегов (это самое печальное), так что делать его основным инструментом поиска не вариант, но дополнительным - очень даже.
Springer has a tool - AuthorMapper, it marks authors of articles from their database on the world map. But the cool thing about it is the implementation of the tagging system. It is easy to use, and it gives search results adequate to the request. Moreover, the tags there, in fact, are all fields: the names of institutions, the names of the authors, the columns of the years in the diagram, and so on. For my taste, navigation and results are nicer than in many large databases. True, the statistics, as far as I understand, are only absolute (and only from Springer's databases) and there is a limit on the number of words in the tag cloud (this is the saddest thing), so making it the main search tool is not an option, but an additional one.
