БЕЗОГОВОРЧНОЙ ПОБЕДЫ ПОСТ - 2. Фильм "Другие люди".
Приз Серебрянная Лада 24-го всероссийского фестивлая игровых короткометражных фильмов "Встречи на Вятке" г. Киров. Не буду ничего говорить больше, лучше прямо здесь же помещу рецензию известного уральского режиссёра Андрей Кима, сделавшего несколько прекрасных детских фильмов. Просто прочтите. И если появится желание - посмотрите фильм.

Хочу сказать несколько слов о фильме "Другие люди" режиссёра Ильи Белостоцкого. На мой взгляд - это замечательный случай, когда художник говорит больше и глубже, чем лежит в поверхностном слое сюжета. Сознательно он это делает или нет - даже не столь важно. Хотя мне сдается, что сознательно.
Первое, что мне очень понравилось - это детский фильм. Глубинно детский (кстати, как и более позднее "Бегство рогатых викингов" того же режиссёра). Я не знаю, как это вышло, но фильм снят так, как если бы ребенок обладал мастерством режиссера и умел бы по-взрослому делать кино. Взрослый дядя Белостоцкий словно бы растворился в материале. И ни разу не выскочил с взрослой дидактикой, не "довернул". Детская, можно сказать, лёгкость режиссуры.
Даже недотяжки актерских работ, даже некоторые "проскоки" сюжетной логики - всё это играет, всё можно простить - это детская история. Корнями из всех детских лагерных страшилок. Я знаю, что сценарий писал тоже взрослый дядя. Тем удивительнее. Как-то они оба сумели раствориться в детстве.
Есть тьма хороших фильмов для детей, сделанных взрослыми. К примеру, "Там, где ветер" Татьяны Мирошник - один из них из них: замечательное, но совсем другое кино). А "Другие люди" - детский. Детский по языку, по логике мышления.
Теперь о втором, что меня удивило. В этой детской истории прячется совсем уже недетский подтекст. Бегство из лагеря. Вернее, невозможность бегства. Это уже наше, взрослое, это наш опыт XX века. Но самое интересное, что каким-то чудом и эта тема в фильме тоже становится детской. Может потому, что свобода - это личное, глубинное, на уровне инстинкта? Ущемление моей свободы несет прямую опасность моей жизни.
Получается, что детям этого не надо объяснять. Это в них изначально, "аппаратно" прошито!.. А взрослым - надо. По-моему, очень интересный вывод. Получается, что этот, повторюсь, абсолютно детский фильм надо бы и взрослым показывать. Боюсь только, что мало кто из них просечёт все "слои".
И последнее. Мне кажется, что глубинные человеческие страшилки, те, что существуют всегда, появляются на поверхности нашего сознания в определенные времена. История о превращении людей в послушное стадо - она сегодняшняя... А тут ещё режиссёр зачем-то эти галстуки с триколором на вожатых нацепил… Или проглядел? Значит высший "режиссер" так решил.
В финале фильма один из главных героев, оторвавшись от преследования, записывает на телефон видео. Пытается что-то сообщить, сбивается, тут же раскаивается в своём невольном предательстве, а на заднем плане за ним уже пришли... На мой взгляд, это самый сильный, и как ни парадоксально, самый светлый момент в фильме. Этот мальчик уже не спасётся. Но он думает уже не о себе. Он обращается прямо в камеру, прямо к зрителям, как бы говоря нам - если вы смотрите это видео, может быть вы ещё спасётесь… Дай-то Бог.
Нужна ли детям история с трагическим концом (трагическим не в обывательском, в античном смысле. Или как у Оруэлла. Или как у Хаксли)? Сегодня в век "комфорта превыше всего" - необходимо! После просмотра, на обсуждении я видел, как ребятишки не хотят принимать этот финал, как изворачиваются, ища выход!.. Пусть. Это им как прививка. Как витамин в рационе.
В общем, очень интересная получилась работа. С каким-то сверхсмыслом.

I would like to say a few words about the film "Other People" directed by Ilya Belostotsky. In my opinion, this is a wonderful case when the artist speaks more and deeper than lies in the surface layer of the plot. Whether he does it consciously or not is not even that important. Although it seems to me that deliberately.
The first thing I really liked was the children's film. Deeply childish (by the way, like the later "Flight of the Horned Vikings" by the same director). I don't know how it came about, but the film was shot as if a child had the skill of a director and could make a movie like an adult. The adult uncle Belostotsky seemed to dissolve into the material. And he never jumped out with adult didactics, did not "trust". Children's, one might say, the ease of directing.
Even the lack of acting work, even some "leaps" of the plot logic - all this plays, everything can be forgiven - this is a children's story. Roots from all children's camp horror stories. I know that the script was also written by an adult uncle. All the more surprising. Somehow they both managed to dissolve in childhood.
There are tons of good adult films for kids. For example, "Where the Wind is" by Tatyana Miroshnik is one of them: a wonderful, but completely different movie). And "Other people" is for children. Childish in language, logic of thinking.
Now about the second thing that surprised me. This children's story hides a completely non-childish subtext. Escape from the camp. Rather, the impossibility of escape. This is already ours, an adult, this is our experience of the 20th century. But the most interesting thing is that by some miracle this theme in the film also becomes childish. Maybe because freedom is personal, deep, at the level of instinct? The encroachment on my freedom is in direct danger to my life.
It turns out that children do not need to explain this. This is in them initially, "hardware" stitched! .. And adults - it is necessary. In my opinion, a very interesting conclusion. It turns out that this, I repeat, an absolutely children's film should be shown to adults as well. I'm only afraid that few of them will cut through all the "layers".
And the last thing. It seems to me that deep human horror stories, those that always exist, appear on the surface of our consciousness at certain times. The story of the transformation of people into an obedient herd - it is today ... And then for some reason the director put these ties with a tricolor on the counselors ... Or overlooked? So the highest "director" has decided so.
At the end of the film, one of the main characters, breaking away from the pursuit, records a video on the phone. He tries to communicate something, gets confused, immediately repents of his involuntary betrayal, and in the background they have already come for him ... In my opinion, this is the strongest, and paradoxically, the brightest moment in the film. This boy will no longer be saved. But he no longer thinks about himself. He speaks directly to the camera, directly to the audience, as if telling us - if you watch this video, maybe you will still be saved ... God forbid.
Do children need a story with a tragic end (tragic, not in the philistine, in the antique sense. Or like Orwell's. Or like Huxley's)? Today, in the age of "comfort above all else" - it is necessary! After watching, during the discussion, I saw how the kids do not want to accept this ending, how they dodge, looking for a way out! .. Let it be. It's like a vaccination for them. As a vitamin in the diet.
In general, the work turned out to be very interesting. With some kind of super-meaning.
