ДВЕ ЧАШКИ
Лощеный хмырь — дитя стилистов –
Глядел с обложки в небеса,
И вы журнал листали быстро,
Присев в кафе на полчаса.
А я сидел, томясь в окошко,
Напит и, кажется, небрит,
Приняв в сравнении с обложкой
Непрезентабельнейший вид.
Но красота — страшней нет силы —
И нервность ваших сигарет,
Она толкала и манила
Придвинуть к вам мой табурет.
И в миг, когда в кофейной чашке
Вам увидался отблеск дна,
Я взял манеры, взял замашки
И оторвался от окна.
Как карандаш цветной в пенале
Я был заточен рисовать.
Я рисовал, а вы кивали
Про жизнь, и снова, и опять.
И карандаш вам тоже нужен,
Ломая грифель, расчеркать
Про нелады с жильем и мужем,
Чтоб тушью вхлип не растекать.
Все как в кино. Но рвется пленка.
И я от выхода взгляну —
Вдруг две кофейных чашки звонко
Уложатся одна в одну.
Но стол тих-пуст. Что пил, что не пил.
Лощеный хмырь журнальный — вслед.
Две чашки порознь. И пепел —
Свидетель нервных сигарет.

TWO CUPS
Glossy hmy - the child of stylists -
Looked at the sky from the cover

And I will look from the exit -
Suddenly two coffee cups are ringing
Will fit one into one.
But the table is quietly empty. What he drank, what he didn't.
