Вчера на 27-м бассейне я неожиданно понял, зачем все это было нужно в новом Бегущем по лезвию.
Мнений уже поднакопилось. Кто-то хвалит, потому что он красивый. Кто-то считает калькой на культовый киберпанк, потому что нет идеи, только картинка. Кто-то воспринимает Гослинга и Лето в фильме как личное оскорбление.
Оговорюсь, я смотрел оригинальный фильм раза четыре, еще в детстве с отцом, и пол года назад пересматривал. Прочитал "Мечтают ли Андроиды об электроовцах" Филипа Дика, слушал в молодости Вангелиса. В то же время считаю Вильнева одним из лучших современных авторов (Sicario и Prisoners are so cool). И мне нравится Гослинг. Т.е. я как бы в обоих лагерях побывал.
Новый фильм. What the fuck has just happened? Первые полтора часа ты смотришь лучшее кино на свете. Это мастеркласс композиции. Он увлекает, он полон символов. Он почти без помарок ведет нас по стандартному Пути героя, как и Крестный отец, Гарри Поттер или Шрек. А это путь к успеху в индустрии.

Есть только одна мнимая слабость. Ну догадались мы уже, что герой особенный. Хватит лить подсказки.
Теперь спойлеры, аккуратнее! Где-то в третьей трети нам говорят — это все обман, нет героя, он этому миру не нужен. И начинают лить новые непонятные ценности. Потом конец, и ты выходишь из кинотеатра опустошенный и думаешь — вот нафиг это все было нужно?
Прошло два дня, я вынырнул и вспомнил, что "Каждый из нас хотел бы быть им". И дошло. Теперь я формулирую сообщение Бегущего так:
"Опустошение человека в цифровую эпоху после осознания, что мир не вращается вокруг него, попытка найти смысл в семейных ценностях."
This is sooo cool. И стареющий Гослинг так здорово сюда подходит. И порванный в клочья Путь героя. И цифровая фантазия (девушка), для которой герой и вправду центр мира. И эти супер явные подсказки —диалог с фантомной девушкой, которая им так гордится, на самом деле — внутренний диалог: каждый из нас верит в свою особенность. Вильнев вновь поводил нас по лабиринту, как в Prisoners. Но этот опыт чарует, я бы не прочь повторить.
И зеленое пальто у героя классное.
