Castelo De S.Jorge -это укрепление было построено в середине ХI века, во время мавританского периода, и расположено в труднодоступном месте на вершине холма, имеющего природную крутизну на севере и западе!
Целью строительства замка являлось размещение в нем военных отрядов, а также укрытий в случае осады представителей высшего сословия, которые жили в крепости!
Сейчас в нем сохранилось 11 башен, все они находятся на склонах холма!

The purpose of the construction of the castle was to accommodate military units in it, as well as shelters in the event of a siege of representatives of the upper class who lived in the fortress!
Now 11 towers have been preserved in it, all of them are on the slopes of the hill!
