Сегодня 65 лет Олегу Сысуеву. Бывшему реально крутому самарскому мэру.
Вспоминаются две истории, связанные с ним.
В девяностые во время его мэрства я учился в одной школе с его дочерью. Школе обычной. Общеобразовательной. 81. На Самарской площади.
Хотя школа была в центре, контингент случался очень разный. То, что дочь мэра учится здесь, всем ученикам было известно. Но у общей массы не вызывало особых эмоций. Ну ходит как все, моет полы во время дежурства по классу... Понятно, что время было другое, но всё же штрих к портрету.
Через двадцать с лишним лет поехали в Москву брать у экс-мэра интервью. Попали в глубину офиса "Альфа-Банка". В кабинете Олега Николаевича стояла модель самолёта ныне несуществующей авиакомпании "Самара". Говорили просто, без церемониалов. Будто случайно познакомились на каком-то мероприятии, где люди собрались по общим интересам.
Уходя, зависли у фотографии на стене, где был снят какой-то импортный open-air (кажется, Glastonbury). Сысуев увлечённо начал рассказывать про фото и их новое детище Alfa Future People, хотя оговоренное время встречи уже давно вышло. Внезапно, ко всему прочему, ещё и случился разговор людей, увлечённых музыкой.
Политическим и финансовым элитам России очень не хватает таких мудрых, образованных людей со вкусом, но без апломба. А в нашем городе их не хватает вдвойне. Рад, что Олег Николаевич всё-таки был и есть. С Днём Рождения!
ЗЫ И вообще, друзья, давайте писать здесь не только некрологи. Живые тоже заслуживают того, чтобы о них говорили что-то хорошее.

As if by chance met at some event where people gathered for common interests.
Leaving, we hung up at a photo on the wall, where some imported open-air was filmed (I think Glastonbury). Sysuev enthusiastically began to talk about the photo and their new brainchild, Alfa Future People, although the agreed time for the meeting had long since passed. Suddenly, on top of everything else, there was also a conversation between people keen on music.
The political and financial elites of Russia sorely lack such wise, educated people with taste, but without aplomb. And in our city they are doubly lacking. I am glad that Oleg Nikolaevich was and still is. Happy Birthday!
PS And in general, friends, let's write here not only obituaries. The living also deserve to be said something good about them.
