По-прежнему монополизированный государством интернет дорогущий, но знайте, в 2013 году оптоволокно все же провели по дну Карибского моря через Венесуэлу. Хотя до Флориды в разы ближе и эффективнее, со штатами не договорились.
По заверениям местных, зарплата учителя - 1 125 песо (45 евро).
Здесь поясню - валют, с появлением в начале 90-х туризма, стало две: к национальным песо добавились международные капиталистические куки, туристы имеют право обменивать валюту только на них. Один кук приравнивается сегодня к одному евро и аж 25-ти песо. К примеру, экскурсия на остров Кайо-Бланко с полуострова Варадеро обошлась нам в 97 куков с человека, это целых 2 425 песо. То есть, такое впечатление, что есть люди, работающие в туризме, а есть все остальные. Ведь для того чтобы заработать, всем приходится где-то подрабатывать. Для этого изучают английский, канадский и русский - основные языки туристов.
Для меня было новостью узнать про прогрессивную, одну из лучших в мире, медицину, в которую государство активно привлекает население, делая ее еще и бесплатной для жителей. Одни из самых высоких зарплат в стране, специалистов отправляют в другие страны, еще говорят, что от рака на острове уже не умирают.
Отличная на контрасты старая Гавана навеяла мысли о грамотно спроектированном родном Петербурге. Узкие улицы, разноуровневые дома, соседство лакшери и помойки, свежие снаружи китайские новые и такие же свежие снаружи, но громыхающие в дыму американские ретро-автомобили, тусующиеся в улочках и на лестницах грязных парадных толпы местного населения, все это создает впечатление ленивого хаоса.
Что касается самого важного - песочек белый, водичка бирюзовая, пляжи свободные. И к туристам никто не пристает, сплошной чил.
